I watched the video and Pence wasn't booed as loudly as reported. It was actually mostly applause and cheers. As for the speech, I didn't think it was rude.
Theater is not just about entertainment and HAMILTON, a show in which our founding fathers are played by African Americans, certainly is not leaving politics about it. It's about politics.
Well in reality, I think Pence made the error. The error was obviously in going to their fucking play, offering the opportunity to be what they will.
I think brutal was the wrong adjective to describe the situation....if Pence can't handle that, he'll have a tough time dealing with the job he has now
Oh I think he can handle. I would not advice attending the academy awards either. It is just a matter off selecting places where civil decorum will rule. Most of the time when a High ranking official attends a play or show, they normal announce this to the crowd and give the person a round of applause. I suppose one must acknowledge the left world has changed.
The cast of Hamilton was not rude. They even thanked him for coming to see the show. I'd say they were to nice. Of course the crowd booed him, not sure what he was doing there in the first place. His entire political career has been used to destroy the very diversity the play represents.
It strikes me as odd how many liked your post. Even more odd that people can not see rude right in front of them. When someone comes to your place, it is always rude to use that time to lecture them. Most people know this.
So you don't agree with those believing that we should respect all other people without prejudice if they also have a problem with someone who still believes in conversion therapy? That's bigotry? Get outta here.
What was it, two, three weeks ago, Joe was talking about taking someone out behind the woodshed. Dang! I wish I knew how to get him offer me that view. Holy shit, how cool would it be if Obama were there too?? Whooo!
