There is talk that PBS is going to be defunded. I personally love PBS. So many great shows and documentaries. They have many shows and videos monetized on YouTube. Meaning if you watch something, they get money. So if there is something you like watching, post it. Maybe we can keep a great American institution afloat.
Just watched Ken Burns documentary Leonardo. But hell, renaissance gay artist who sought knowledge in nature. Can't let our children know about him.
Idk what "PBS Love" stands for, but what you do with MrsTHEHCP during your allotted time with her, should stay between you two.
I grew up watching PBS. Mr Rogers Monty Python Captain Kangaroo Reading Rainbow Etc etc Best leave that channel alone
We've been PBS member for years. That and the NYT games app are two of the best values going. It's worth every penny to get quality programming.......along with scientific and historical facts (two things that don't exist in MAGAworld). Shutting down public broadcasting would be a genuine travesty.....and the true beginning of the end of democracy. And I also grew up on Captain Kangaroo (Jeezus did that guy span some generations) and I always remember it being on CBS....
Imagine taking educational videos away from people and going to sleep at night like you accomplished anything. Fuck all of you who voted Trump. This is all your fault.
Ive been listening to a decent amount of NPR ( not familiar with all news radio channels). Curious. What is the difference between NPR and PBS. Is it just one is radio and one is TV or do they provide different viewpoints, etc? i don't watch enough tv to know, nor listen to enough radio. Is NPR considered right leaning? They sound fairly impartial, so hard for me to tell. What aBout PBS?
https://www.opb.org/give/digital-se...iscSjyBhXe4E4F9UHUbZNl9LQMIg03KkaAhaEEALw_wcB Thee best way to keep it alive is to join..also give the clicks to their website and it helps them more....I've been a member for decades. I got this link from a youtube search so I hope it's legit but a google search should get you there as well.
NPR is radio. It's nonpartisan. It creates most of its own stuff. Some of its material is created by independent local stations. PBS is TV and some online features for kids. PBS isn't political. It's kids programing. All PBS programing is created by independent local stations across the country.
