Karma is tricky that's true. If you get into an educated debate with someone, most will agree that it is not just about rings. Kobe had Shaq, Magic had Kareem/Worthy, Bird had McHale/Parrish. I think it is more about individual performances in the playoffs, and some kind of playoff MVP always helps a player's legacy. You don't necessarily need more rings than player X. I'll rephrase myself. Jordan never had a postseason like the one James had in 2009. So it goes both ways, part of the evening out over a career (outliers). I think he'll be fine but there needs to be less of an emphasis on MPG and the regular season in general. If possible practice a lot less intensely, sort of like Kobe. Play 36 MPG like Wade did in 2009-2010. As for D-Rob I think people know he didn't have the cast to make multiple title runs, there's a smaller margin for error. Based on the supporting cast one has I think things will even out.
James was at his worst in 2011, but I've been defending him pretty well. I feel like he'll make up for it and he'll cut back on the minutes per game. I'm thinking more from a career-perspective, he messed up this year but it is complicated. I'm not saying this is acceptable performance-wise, just that it can be avoided. James the single best season of all time in 2009, if you combine regular season and post-season #s. He has the ability if the Heat can conserve him a little better. I feel like Karma usually gives one the titles they deserve. LeBron has two bad series in his entire career, even his series last year against Boston was better than Jordan's 88 series against Detroit. I know you don't buy that Karma stuff but I usually do, over a career things seem to even out from a luck perspective. Jordan got lucky it didn't matter how he played against the Sonics, 97 Heat, 92 Knicks. But he was unlucky to not win titles in the late 1980s when he was a monster. It evens out to me.
I'll give you the long explanation, based on all my observations: Chicago-Wade was worse than Dallas-James though, so it is not unprecedented. The difference was how Dallas only needs Dirk for 34 MPG, and they still breeze through the season. LeBron could have yelled at Wade against Chicago, but he didn't he's a little more grateful. I'm kind of glad I don't have to hear about Wade's Second Finals MVP I'm annoyed by him. The way I see it is like this: James is not as durable as Jordan, don't throw him out there for 44 MPG not even Jordan did that ( last time Kobe did that was against the 04 Pistons and 06 Suns). His elbow was still wrapped up in ice back in the October training camp. His problem is physical, he weighs 40 or 50 pounds more.
I'm good brah, don't worry. :O I feel like things will "even out", for Miami in the end.
And when I say that, I really believe it. I'm not just blowing smoke... http://www.myvido1.com/wYwAnMSZkUDFl...e-8-rings-cham
