Bad news...certain teams (the Celtics cough cough) and players (Dwight Howard anyone?) better watch their backs when it comes to fouls this season as the NBA has just announced that they will double the fine for a technical foul.

This season technicals will cost players and coaches $2,000 for each of their first five, $3,000 for the next five and $4,000 for technicals eleven through fifteen. Once a player hits sixteen though they will be suspended one game for every two technicals

You don't have to tell me twice. I know I've been gone for an unacceptable amount of time, however, I do have valid excuses. Not only was it my birthday week but fall semester (my last semester of undergrad, fingers crossed) then started, coupled with the fact that I have started a new internship and just recently have gotten sick.
