I don't know who started these "unfair judging" critiques, and frankly, even though I'm not against the idea of 3 judges, I think it's extreme when we have to accuse one another of cheating on a rap tournament on a <u>BASKETBALL MESSAGE BOARD.</u> Seriously, I don't think anyone is going to go fish for an easier opponent. If they are, then they have issues because this isn't a battle to try and get signed to Rocafella or something, it's for the JBB Tourney crown lol. Honestly, I don't mind everyone voting, as long as they backup thier views with more then one line. The one line explaination (unless it's evidently apparent the other opponent clearly was horrible) just irritates me.
In the end it's all for fun but it's better to set a fairer judging system up now so that when we get into deeper stages, there will be no complaining.
I think the Final four or somehting should definetly be judged by 3 or 5 judges. However, if we do instill the judging system, I don't think the judges are going to make "wrong" choices..in the end, it's majority wins...I think that if the judges decisions are 3-2 when deciding, then and only then should the rest of the board be allowed to vote.
