The product is a multiplatform office productivity suite. It includes desktop applications such as a word processor, a spreadsheet program, a presentation manager, and a drawing program, with a user interface and feature set similar to those of other office suites. This is so then if you are presenting a PowerPoint you made in Openoffice.org, you can play it using Microsoft Office.I've found all compatability perfect so far. I definately prefer it over Microsoft Office because it's free and works just as well. You can download it from http://www.download.com/OpenOffice-org/300...tml?tag=lst-0-1 or www.openoffice.org.
