Anyone else getting it at launch tonight? I was suckered in to reserving it today while I was at GameStop...so I will be getting it tonight. While there's really no games of interest to me at launch, there's a slew of games coming out between now in the end of the year - Splinter Cell, Zelda, Kid Icarus, etc - that I felt compelled to get the damn thing. While it's a pricy investment, at least I'll have one. The preorders are the most out of any console ever and more than doubled the Wii's preorders, which now sits at #2 all time. What this basically means is, good luck actually finding it in stores for the first year of it's release. That was the case with the Wii, where it was over a year before I actually saw one on store shelves. Anyways, I suppose I'm done rambling. Is anyone else gonna blow some cash on it tonight? If so, let me know your thoughts when you get it. I'll be posting my thoughts about it sometime next week, more than likely.

My girlfriend wants me to get her one for her long commutes to school. Are these worth the money or should I just get her the DSi?

I like my 3DS a lot. However, if it's mainly going to be used for a train/bus ride, I might almost recommend getting a DSi, because in order to really take advantage of the 3D, you have to keep it in the sweet spot, and it's tough to do that when you're moving sometimes. That being said, I'm more than happy trading my DSi in for the 3DS. It's going to have a lot of fantastic games coming out between now and July and it's already got a solid library behind it since you can play any DS game on it.

DSi. The 3DS is the 3D on, right? Lol.. To many of those things. I heard the 3D is iffy to use if your not sitting still. Bus rides would be bad imo.
