Here is a list of some college player that are eligible that might not be draft:
Dijon Thompson UCLA
Chevon Troutman Pitt.
Chris Thomas ND
Jose Juan Barea Northeastern
Juan Mendez Niagra
Travis Diener Marquette
Kelvin Tolbert Mich. ST.
Lawerence Roberts Miss. St.
B.J. Elder Georgia Tech
Will Conroy Washington

What do they all have in common...... HEART!!! They're all projected to be undrafted or 2nd-round bubbles, all because they're either not as athletic, undersized, and lack of skill. It just makes me mad that now days all you see is these players that walk up and down the court and just play for the money. The only team in the past years I've seen use players with heart is the Kings, but Peja, Bibby, and Miller all have become an average NBA player, all there is, is money on the mind. Players like Brian Cardinal should make up the league, because against all odds they come out and do what ever they're suppose to, even with lack of athletic ability, skill, and undersized. I just makes me mad[IMG] that they don't draft players like the ones I listed. Most people now days prefer to watch College now days because they play with heart and put everything out on the line every game. NBA they just do dunks after dunks on each other. No defense, that's why Spurs and Detroit and teams that play defense win. Against all odds Utah Jazz 2 years ago made a run for the playoffs with a run down roster, with only one player that was good (Kirilenko). Now only if people would play for the LOVE OF THE GAME like they advertise with their commercials. [IMG]

did i see the name...... B.J. ELder in that list??? and Will Conroy?? that is messed up! Elder can come off the bench rite now at this very moment and Conroy can lock up just about anyone... aka... Bigger version of Bruce Bowen.

Lawrence Roberts and Travis Diener are two players that I think could help an NBA team. Like you said, these guys give it their all and aren't worried about who will pay them the most or about which shoe company they will sign with. They are in it because they love to play basketball and those are my favorite types of players.

I agree with most of those guys on your list, but I think about three or four of them will be drafted, as they're all getting late second round consideration.

One kid on there who I am particularly rooting for is KT, Kelvin Torbert. When KT came into Michigan State, he was the #1 ranked High School basketball player in America (or #2 behind Wagner depending on who you listen to) and he was projected as a future top 5 or top 10 pick by just about every mock draft source in America. Kelvin could have easily come out of High School and would have been a first round lock, but he stayed because he wanted an education. He struggled his first two years at Michigan State because of a knee injury, but after successful surgeory he finally clicked his Junior year, averaging eleven points and four rebounds as a starter in a very crowded backcourt. This year was an interesting year for KT. He had started each of his first three years, so you'd assume he'd start his Senior year. However, KT wanted NBA prospect Shannon Brown to start in his place because it was in the best interests of the team, and KT never complained throughout it all. When you look at his stats from this year, you might say, "Why the hell would anyone draft this kid?", but KT's story isn't explained through his statistics. He really did everything that would help the team win. At 6-5, has has played Point Guard, Shooting Guard, Small Forward, and Power Forward. He has been the main option, a playmaker, and a reserve. He has just done everything that Michigan State needed. With a deceased mother and a dying father, Kelvin had to raise himself for most of his life. He's had more adversity thrown his way than just about any other player in this draft, so if anyone deserves to be picked in the late rounds, it's KT. I mean, why is this 6-5 Shooting Guard with such potential and such great athleticism off the board anyway?

Kelenna Azubuike and Chuck Hayes most likely will go undrafted. But I think someone may pickup Azubuike because of his potential. He was supposed to have been something huge at Kentucky as he averaged 40 points in high school but never really lived up to expectations. He still led Kentucky in points per game last season with just under 15 a game. The one thing that is wrong with Azubuike is consistency. He can go out there and get you 20-25 points a game like the UNC game, but he somewhat disapears when at others times. So whoever drafts Azubuike shouldn't expect nothing special in his first season.

How bout Jose Juan Barea? Does any one even know what conference Northeastern is from? This guy can play, he can score when needed but also pass like a Stockton.

I agree with your list, but I don't really like Chris thomas, I think he lacks NBA potential in many areas. I love Lawrence Roberts, and I'm a big supporter of him. I think he will get drafted in the early second. I see a bunch of these players making a killing over seas.

Scouts will question a few on the imports in rd 2,who lack decent numbers and don't have a lot of real upside,so at least half those on this list will likely get picked and most will be in the NBA. There are probably a half dozen more "bubble" guys who also could be listed-and also will reach the NBA

The guy I'd love to see get drafted most off that list is BJ Elder. If it weren't for his hamstring pull this year, GT would have been much more of a force. As it was, with his team tanking, he came back too soon and never played well all season. He's a guy, although only 6-4 (a smaller 2 guard) has the body, and his shooting could be used on any team. If guys like David Wesley at 6-1 can find time and a career in the NBA, this kid should be picked up by someone.

I'm real high on Elder as well. His shooting touch is great from anywhere on the court, and was a post up threat in NCAA. But I don't see him being able to post up on the more physical guard in the NBA. He's still a very intriguing prospect, and would probably be a late first round pick if it weren't for the injury.

I like the chances of Lawrence Roberts being a succesful player in the NBA, many people thought he would be very high in this years draft after the 2003-2004 season in which he was SEC player of the year. But as of now he might not get drafted, but he has shown he can be very good player. He is improving on his rebounds, and as J-Ray says, all of these players have a lot of heart. He just needs to start working hard, and he could be a good player in the NBA.

Barea is good, he has very good court awareness, can pass on the full court or half court. create open shots for his teammates and can beat anyone one one scoreing creatively, and is a good jumper and rebounder, and tough defender

Barea needs to work on his shooting, he's just average. and he's undersized, he's barely 6 feet

Barea, Soto, and Clemente are the future PG's for Puerto Rico

I'm not sure if Barea is going to get drafted, but I hope he does, to Miami
