Our season is over, the NBA Draft is weeks away and basically the offseason has yey to officially start. So I came up with something similar to the game most of us on JBB play o' so often, Fact or Fiction. It's not Fact of Fiction it's called "What If". Here is how it works:

I'll bring up a scenario such as...

What if the Jazz never had key injuries this year...

And from there the next person who replies shares their thoughts on where the Jazz would be if this were the case. And they follow that off with they're own scenario and so on. It's very simple. I'll start it off.

What if Ginobli didn't fall on Kirilenko's knee in the beginning of the year.....

They probably still would've been a lottery team but they are getting better by bringing in sime free agents. What if Karl Malone came back for one more year with the Jazz. Would he start?

Ginobili didn't fall on Kirilenko's knee........it was Beno Udrih. But without all the injuries, things would certainly have been different.

NO, it was Ginobli, he was taking a charge and rolled Kirilenko's knee.

I have to agree with Tankster on this one, it was Beno Udrih. But I think if the Jazz didn't have any injuries this season, I think they would of made the playoffs; probably just as the 7th or 8th seed. I think we could of seen AK-47 win the DPOY, Sloan possibably winning the COY, and maybe a MIP for Raja Bell. Thats just my opinion, too bad it didn't happen.

Oh, I thought it was Ginobli, sorry my bad. Bill Walton was saying they could have been a 4-seed after they killed the Lakers in the first game of the year.

No, it's been a long time since he's played and the Jazz have Carlos Boozer.

What if Andrei Kirilenko had played all 82 regular season games, would he be the DPOY this season?

Yes. Hands down. He's a very unorthodox player with a unique style of defense. He played defense well around the perimeter and when in low block he can get up there and block shots, tons of shots for that matter and additionally grab some rebounds for you.

What if the Utah Jazz never got bit by the injury bug and they maintained that quick start they had early in the season...

The Utah Jazz would be a 6-8 seed in the playoffs and would have wreaked some havoc, maybe even got to the Western Finals.

What if Utah Jazz had Jeff Hornacek 2 more years, instead of having him retired?

I don't really think anything would of been much different. While Jeff was great; his knees was getting the best of him. He was still putting up around 14 points a game but on most nights giving up that much or more on the defensive end of the floor.

What if the Jazz took Tony Parker instead of Raul Lopez in the draft?

^^ The state of the Jazz should be very different to what it is today. The Jazz would have their PG of the future, Tony Parker. Utah's records over the past few seasons should have been different if Parker was on the Jazz instead of Raul Lopez as well.

What if the Jazz had kept Mo Williams?

The Jazz would have won more games, but I don't think that they would have made the playoffs. Mo Williams had a great year this past season and I think he could have had the same production with the Jazz but with all of the injuries the Jazz had this past year to key players it would be hard for anyone to lead that team to the playoffs.

What if the Jazz had won the lottery this year, who would they take?

Probably Chris Paul or Marvin Williams.

What if the Jazz team of the nineites wasn't hurt by the fact that they played in the Jordan era.

If the Jazz didn't play in the Jordan era, they may have got at least one championship. They were beaten by Jordan and the Bulls in two different finals series.

What if the Jazz had done the rumoured Caron Butler, Vlade Divac and Devean George to Utah for Carlos Boozer trade?

They would be worse without Boozer but Butler had a breakout season before he was traded, so he didn't have a good season because Kobe took a lot of his shots away. Vlade Divac wouldn't do nothing, because he's old, and has a bad back. Devean George isn't very good, and was injured all year last year. It only would have been a rip off. Really it would have only been Caron Butler in the trade because Vlade and Devean George both have player options this year.

What if we were able to sign Jason Kidd, in the offseason two years ago, then got Kenyon Martin in the offseason, this year, would they be a playoff contender.....

With Jason Kidd and Kenyon Martin, they would be playoff contenders but they would not be contending for a championship. We seen that Kidd and K-Mart made it to the NBA Finals representing the East, but I don't think they could make it representing the West.

What if the Jazz didn't trade Jeff Malone for Jeff Hornacek?
