In a counter of sorts, it's believed some of that money could now be offered to a certain Suns big man.
Seven-foot center Steven Hunter apparently wants out of Phoenix, and the Jazz are thought to be weighing the wisdom of offering him a contract. Hunter apparently wants more than what the Suns are willing to spend, and the Jazz now have that extra cash.
Hunter, a DePaul product who has played three seasons in Orlando and one in Phoenix, is just one of several big men the Jazz have on their radar. Mikki Moore of the Los Angeles Clippers, another 7-footer who played 28 games for the Jazz in the 2003-04 season, may be another.</div>

Stockton is it going to kill you if Bell leaves, as he is your favourite player?

Hunter is a center that we can use, How much cap do we got for all these players they talk about? If we get Hunter, that's the first athletic Center that we've had since Mikki Moore.

Steven Hunter could be a nice addition for the Jazz, if they can afford him. He can come off the bench and block shots, rebound and score, which would fit in well with the Jazz. Mikki Moore could also work out well for the Jazz.

No [IMG]. I'll still support him in Phoenix.

Why would he come off the bench? We don't really have a starting center.

I think Hunter would do better coming off the bench backing up Boozer and Memo. I'm hoping this year Sloan will play Boozer and Memo at the same time and with an athletic spark plug down low can change the whole tempo of the game. I hope the Jazz get Hunter or someone like him.

Hunter would back up Mehmet Okur at C if he was on the Jazz. Okur averaged 12.9 PPG and 7.5 RPG for the season, and should start for the Jazz next season. However, Sloan played Okur coming off the bench for most of last season.

Okur was better of the bench because he add a scorer off the bench for a spark plug.
