<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">LAS VEGAS - The Celtic green clearly isn't green enough for Antoine Walker, but it may not mean he's going to wind up in purple.
The power forward's agent, Mark Bartelstein, said last week that the Kings had inquired about a possible sign-and-trade. But at UNLV's Cox Pavilion for the NBA summer league, Boston Celtics general manager Danny Ainge said none of the discussions have reached him, and that Bartelstein may be posturing to improve his client's value.

"I know that Antoine's agent wants to create some interest, but I have not had one conversation (with the Kings or any other team about a sign-and-trade)," Ainge said. "I think Mark wants to get a maximum contract value for Antoine. Where he's at right now, it probably makes more sense trying to figure out some sort of sign-and-trade. But what I'm saying is, maybe that's what people are telling him, but I've had no conversations at all."
Asked if any of the current Kings interest him, Ainge said, "Yeah, but I won't comment on players. That's tampering. Sure, the Kings have a lot of good players."</div>

I wouldn't put much weight into Ainge's words. He denies everything.

He'd probably even deny having talks with his barber about a haircut.
