I know it is a stupid thought at first but give it a quick glance. Webber has not worked out for Philly mainly because of the slow style of play in Philly. The Warriors will most likely play a similar style that Sac played when he truly enjoyed playing there. He could be our low post threat. Granted, he probably has a sour taste for playing here, and he never does really play in the low post, but man, he is a great passing big man and could provide a nice element for excitement. Imagine the headlines "The last time the Warriors made the playoffs, Chris Webber was on their team. This season is the first time the Warriors have made the playoffs since they shipped off Chris Webber 11 years ago. Now they bring him back and all of a sudden they are in playoff contention". You really can't judge Webb in Philly just yet. He played less than a 1/2 a season with the 6ers. Give him a full training camp with AI and others a season and then judge it.

In my eyes I think the actually started to get the hang of each other in the last 5-8 games including the playoffs.

I don't like the idea of having a declining and oft injured 2nd highest paid player in the league with salary lasting until 2008. I'd rather have Sprewell back before him.

He was the beginning of the the decline of this franchise. Every game that he's in I hope ends up in a loss for his team. I hope his selfishness is never rewarded in anything.

How much do you really know about Webber? Why was he traded? Did he demand a trade? Why do you consider him selfish? From what I remember Nelly wanted him to play center, but Webber wanted to play PF. That was where he was more comfortable. He and Nelly butted heads because of this and Nelly demanded Webber be traded. Thats what I remember.

Being a Kings fan, I would love to see C-Webb back on the left coast. But I can give you 19,125,000 reasons why this will never happen.

Lets take it easy on him; lets just expect 1% of that number.

Waiting on 191,250 reasons why Webber to the Warriors would not work... [IMG]

What you remember is pretty much right on, Warriorsfan. He had his own thoughts about how he wanted to play and Nellie, with his "small lineup" look, wanted Webber to play at C.

Nowadays, Webber is really just a big man jumpshooter. We already have that in Murphy, and Murphy has better range. Webber has more low post skills than Murphy, but because of his injuries, he's not as explosive around the basket, which takes away alot of his options.

Actually he did sit out and demanded a trade. Webber whined and cried not because he was going to play Center (we traded for Ronny Seikely) but because Nelly would bench him every time he'd stand at the 3 point line and jack up threes. He was selfish. He wanted to go play with his buddy in Washington and cried until he got his way (traded off of a championship contender). Then he cried in Washington because he thought that he wanted to play for a contender. Then cried when we went to Sacramento because the team was hard on him for expecting to play through his injuries. He's a big selfish baby.

His salary is gigantic. We always whine how Dunleavy will be overpaid and stuff. But, Webber will get more than what Dunleavy and Pietrus combined. Also, it was Cohan who kicked Webber out from here in favor of Nelson. I don't see him accepting Webber again...

Mr. Smiley's butt looks sunburnt, so I guess his buttocks are no stranger to sunlight.

Webber was an ideal power forward back in the day with his ability to pass, the ability to rebound, pump fake, hit from midrange, handle the ball, and he could block shots. The guy was super turnover prone, but he made up for it some with his 4 or 5 assists per game and ton of points. Who wants him now though? He's so stiff now, injury prone and he's lost his hops. There have been no around the world 360 or no-look jersey pulled over his head dunks for a while now and that's what the extra dough he gets from the fans and owners should pay for.
