I pray they don't try and get Peja. A one dimensional player that doesn't play any defense. He's going to demand big money because of his shooting ability. Sacto will be able to offer him the most and he will most likely stay there because Webber is gone so the team is his and Bibby's. Why pack all his stuff up, sell his house and move to a rival for less money? Unless the Lakers are considerably BETTER then the kings by then (which I don't see happening) Peja will not come to LA. As for other FA's....there's great news. Amare stoudemire will be a FA and if this whole deal with the suns/atlanta doesn't go down (which it might not) then the suns can't afford him. The owner has said he didnt want to put more than 60 mil towards a lineup. He's got Nash, Marion, and maybe Johnsons contracts locked, not to mention the recent addition of Thomas from the Knicks...this could free up Amare to come to LA. He would be a welcome addition, but only if Kwame sucks it up. Let's hope Kwame does well and we don't need Amare because Kwame is cheaper. Thats really it that I can think of...that and i'm getting tired of writing
I think Mitch Kupchak is planning for the road behind by trying to put together a team that mimicks the 90's bulls while using lesser pieces.Amare isnt going to LA.Based on the outstanding job the Suns GM had done putting together last years team I dont see how theres anyway he doesnt realize that Amare must be kept at all costs.
