Does it matter, Lebron will never average a trible double, Robertson acheived that which is just insane.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheAnswer2:</div><div class="quote_post">While I agree with you, I have to ask to stop exaggerating. The best clutch player in the league? Please, I'd take Kobe, or Iverson over him, and no, not becaus AI hit 2 game winners last season, but because he always seems to come up with what you need to win, whether 2 points or a steal.

Lmao, 10 notches? You like the guy huh? He can elevate his game, but he's getting better because he's starting to realize that 90% of the game is mental..ie defense.</div>
Iverson clutch? Iverson hadn't even hit a game winner until last year. You must be a fan. Anybody who questions Mcgrady's clutch doesn't watch the game. The guy just doesn't quit. If there's a minute left, and my team is losing, Mcgrady is the best guy in the league (besides maybe Kobe). His defense is also underrated. The guy is unstoppable. Lebron hasn't earned that type of respect yet. Teenagers love him, but true basketball fans know he has a long way to go for greatness.

And game winners are the only kind of clutch play? Do you even know what you're talking about? The last 2 and a half minutes are clutch time.

McGrady's unstoppable? You must be a fan.

I hate when idiots post. TMac does not have weak character, he wouldn't even admit something like that, get real.

Did I just read this about Tmac "arguably the best clutch player in the game".

Is that some sort of joke? Okay, Tmac had a great clutch game last year, 13 points in minimal time, but before that, Tmac was not nearly as clutch as the other big names. I don't know about Iverson, but all these guys are better clutch players: Kobe, Arenas, Wade, Carter, Billups, Ginobili, Pierce, Ben Gordon last season, Redd, Allen, and even Hughes last season was overall a better crunch time player.

McGrady was not known for his great clutch abilities in Orlando. Yes he could hit big shots, but he was actually known for not being too clutch down the stretch. He can still hit big shots, and make plays, but he's far from being the best clutch player in the game, all that is from just one game.

And you question someone about not watching basketball? You don't have the slightest clue on what you're talking about. You think just because someone doesn't make a shot as time expires they are not clutch? Give me a break.

The Matrix wouldnt get the ball in clutch situations. Nash would have the ball at closing minutes. Pierce is definetely more clutch so is Lebron. IDK about AK47.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Rock4life:</div><div class="quote_post">Tmac is a better 3pt shooter, a better leader, a better defender, and is argubly the best clutch player in the game. Lebron might have put up better numbers, but Tmac is a more polished player. Tmac's abilitly to turn his game up a 10 notches, makes him a Top 5 player. Lebron can score, but he hasn't shown that fire to will his team to victory yet. He also hasn't dominated other superstars on a consistent basis. The jury is still out on this kid...................</div>

How is he a better leader? Where do you get this stuff?

LeBron shot 35 percent from behind the arc last year. McGrady shot 33 percent from three.

Arguably the best clutch player in the game? Yeah, well you'd lose that argument.

Wills his team to victory? How about this for willing your team to victory, "it feels great to be in the second round of the playoffs."? Thats a great job of willing his team to victory. Tracy doesn't will his team to victory.

The jury isn't still out on him.

Oscar Roberston has nothing to do with this discussion.

What LeBron did at 20 years old, in this day, is unheard of.

    Nice try.

Because only shots that win a game are clutch. Hmmm, yeah sure.

Iverson has been more clutch than McGrady ever will.

"The guy just doesn't quit." "The guy is unstoppable."

Only teenagers love LeBron? What does that even mean? You make no sense.

And do you think McGrady has hit greatness? Well, he hasn't.

LeBron is nowhere near T-Mac. When it comes to playing in a team, sure LeBron will have better stats than his opponent when comparing T-Mac to his opponent. However, LeBron does nothing for his teammates, unlike T-Mac. Don't even come with stats on how the players around LeBron have "improved," because they haven't despite what the stats say. The reason their stats are up is because now they are more open. Overall, if I was a coach, I would rather have T-Mac on my team then LeBron.

Heads up, for anyone who did not know, both McGrady and LeBron are playing on national TV tonight.

    7:00 Orlando at Cleveland
    9:30 Detroit at Houston

Ive been watching/playing basketball for many many years, never seen a player who was able to do the things Lebron can. On top of being a dominant scorer, Lebron is also a facilitator. I dont think theres ever been a player with that combination of scoring and passing ability. 20 years old and had one of the craziest stat lines EVER last year, best small forward in the game today.

I'm a big Marion fan, but no way I give him the ball to score or create in crunch time.

In terms of the big name SF's:

    Paul Pierce
    Tracy McGrady
    Lebron James
    Carmelo Anthony
    Ron Artest

Neither AK nor Marion are clutch in terms of offensive ability and creating. They can make big plays on the other end though, and Marion can grab key rebounds too, but offensively, Marion is mainly a catch and shoot player in closing game situations.
