Nothing spectacular here...just a little insight into who he is and where he's been...

    ESPN writes a nice piece...worth a read.

Assist to Turnover and team player are the keys...and the reason's the Sonics went a hunting. They wanted to find the right qualities at the cheapest price to leave room for the biggies...three of whom still haven't signed....

Have never heard a bad word against Rick - seems the sort of guy who's never had it easy and has to work for everything he's gotten out of the game.

Being a nice guy doesn't automatically translate into being a good player, but having that work ethic built on years of being a journeyman does help.

I love the guy, he was awesome in his one season as an Adelaide 36er. I'm really glad he's carved out basically a 10-year career in the league, one of the highlights being Latrell Sprewell demanding that the Knicks sign him [IMG]

Rick Brunson may have the most basic game in the NBA, but there is something to be said about someone who has been continuously shown the door and continues to find his way back into the building. You have to pull for the guy, but at the same time you shouldn't expect him to play a significant role in our team's success next year. There shouldn't be unrealistic expectations for Rick, b/c no team has really had much expectations of him.

Rick has a lot of character, but I hope that his character can turn into production when he is given minutes.

How ironic would it have been for Rick to have become a Sonics amnesty casualty the moment he was given a guaranteed contract?

One thing is for certain, and that is he'll be an excellent influence on Luke, both on and off the court.

Damn this offseason is boring, give us some news on Vlad, Reggie or Flip already.
