Can we make the playoffs with the few additions we made? I've noticed teams like Houston, Sacramento, Denver, Clippers, and even the T-Wolves made big improvements. Memphis may have taken a fall, but they're still an okay team. I was wondering what you guys thought about us still having a chance for the playoffs?

I like the Jazz to compete for one of the bottom two playoff spots. It will be tough though, they may be battling with the Clippers, Lakers, Warriors, Kings, Grizzlies, and maybe the T'Wolves. Thats six teams and I would imagine 2 will either breakout and nab a top 6 seed or fall off and be sent to the lottory. That leaves probably about 4 teams that will be competing for 2 spots, everyones got a shot.

the jazz are going to make the playoffs with a healthy ak-47 and a few good point guards memo, tag for defence and boozer is completely revamped, gira is better, and devin brown was a great pickup.

i see around 47 wins or so and a low play-off spot
sloan will not miss the playoffs again

It depends how well Deron Williams plays and how well Kirilenko lasts.
If he gets injured again there won't be any games in May for the Jazz fans.Memo Okur will be better than last year,Boozer needs to stay healthy and the wins are coming like in the start of last season.

If they say healthy, the sky is the limit. If AK47 or Boozer gets injuried, we are going to have another long season.

The Jazz could make the playoffs, they are capable of getting one of the last playoff spots. Staying healthy will be very important to Utah, last season the Jazz struggled with injuries to key players. How much Deron Williams can contribute at PG in his first season will also be important to Utah's playoff chances.

In answer to the question: I won't go in to the reasons why, but it's not likely.

Kirilenko needs to stay healthy, Boozer needs to stay focused, Okur needs to start playing defense, and Deron Williams needs to find his niche quickly and become a steady floor general. Those are just a few musts that the Jazz must accomplish if they want to be anywhere need 45 wins, probably the benchmark on making the playoffs. The team enters the season with a lot of 'if's, and it's going to be an uphill battle if they want to make it.
