There are two issues with the Nuggets and three point shooting.

    1. There is not a genuine three point shooter on the team. Lenard won't scare other teams and the others are average at best. They miss too many.

    2. The main problem though, is that they are shooting too many. I can't see the games but looking at the box scores afterwards, most games there are too many players putting them up. Surely they would be better off holding the ball a little longer and sinking a more likely two.

What do they need to do? Who could they trade for?

From some of the games that I've watched, Vo's horrendous on defense, he can't barely keep up with his man. He's also lost a step as far as getting by around his defenders to launch his shots.

As much as I love the idea of using him as a trade bait, I don't think we have enough mins for the new guy either (Vo hasn't played in the 5th straight game). I don't think the management will make any move unless it involves a bigger name players such as Paul Pierce or Kevin Garnett but of course they're just wishful thinkings.

One trade I'd do for other than shooters is Chris Andersen. He'd make a very good replacement for Nene and an insurance in case an injury hits Camby/ K-Mart/ Elson (concussion yesterday @ Detroit). I always love the birdman's energy, hustle, rebounding, shotblocking and his underrated offense. The Hornets are ranked the second worst three point shooting in the L just ahead of us... see if they're interested in a straight up trade for veteran shooter (Vo)...
