That's the latest according to hoopshype.com

There is no way I give up Ike for Artest. New York wouldn't offer Channing Frye let alone Nate Robinson and David Lee. Ike has a lot to learn but on the offensive side is so polished and skilled, we won't find another play like him in a while. He is a very nice prospect that can contribute now. If it comes down to waiting all the way until the deadline and losing Artest to another team, so be it but Ike cannot be traded for any form of a risk. If we get Bosh that's one thing but Artest? No.

Of course Pacers want Ike. And, there is no way for us to give up Ike either, the only player who brings an inside scoring. Yeah, if we can get similar young prospect with no baggage, there is one thing. But, while Artest is a great talent, he also is a great time bomb as well. The way things pan out, Pacers won't get a dream package, and whatever we are offering may very well be the best package for them. Even if not, I won't give up Diogu at this point...

i agree with kwan...it doesn't seem like indi is getting very good offers, so i doubt they can make such bold demands. ike is too good for only having played like 20 games...plus, i thought mullin said he was untouchable in the trade from the get go.

donnie walsh, wahat a fellow. He thinks hes going to get al these amazing offers for artest, but it wont happen. I think the trade with toronto or the Murphy trade will do the pacers better than a benched artest.

I don't get to watch many Warrior games at all. The ones that I have seen (against Indiana last Thursday), I was quite impressed with Diogu. He has very good footwork and a nice touch around the basket. I agree with you guys as well. I don't want to give up my rookie I invested a 9th overall pick in just a couple of months ago. I, however, would send Troy Murphy to the Pacers along with Dunleavy or whoever they ask for in a heartbeat. Murphy is great on the boards and has a nice touch on the perimeter, but I feel as if he's expendable, especially since he's awful on the defensive end--something you won't find Ron doing. I'm not a big Dunleavy fan at all and would give him up in any Ron Artest deal.

So, basically, I would have a problem giving up Ike, but won't hesitate throwing anyone else in a possible Artest deal. The Pacers already know they're not going to get equal value in return and with the February deadline coming closer and closer, it is important for the Warriors to realize they're the ones with the advantage - not the Pacers. The playoffs are slowly coming and I think Indiana wants to remain as close to being a contender as possible, so you can count on them making a deal soon.

No way I give up IKE. You control him for the next 5 years at controlled salaries. Plus he is committed to the Warriors mentally. He's the only skilled post player we have. Plus Mully, do not get that desperate. Artest is not the TO to get the W's to the Finals.

Well said MrJ. The Pacers are the ones who have the disadvantage. They're trying to get the better deal when it's their player thats the trouble maker. As you said I'd give Dunleavy up in a heartbeat, but never for Diogu. Unless they give us J.O. or something haha.

I think the Warriors won't let Ike go because, he's the future. The games iI watched Ike hustles and I think he's a premiere player in 3 or 4 years.

Id call whoever the Warriors GM is stupid if he gave up a talent like Ike for a troubled player like Artest at this point in his career.

Ike has shown too much potential to trade.

I am glad we all agreed Ike better stay here. He really is something special. Worst case scenario is he will be like Randolphy, best case scenario a Karl Malone or Elton Brand...
