What were the Eagles thinking by the way? They knew he was hurt but didn't know how bad until after the kickoff??? Not getting another kicker in there almost cost them the game.

Ask Tampa Bay what happens when you have a crappy kicker. I lost count of how many games they've lost in the last 3 years because of bad kicking performances.

Kicking cost the Packers their game yesterday against Tampa.

guess who is back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, ok to start off nflfan u r not a real eagles fan ur avatar proves it........ Akers is 1 of the most accurate kickers and as he showed on the field one of the toughest although he definetley should not of kicked the flield goals. Atleast it did not cause a real bad injury you know he still gets to play 2 weeks from now. oooo and its all done for cowboys.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (vikingfan)</div><div class='quotemain'>A team without a kicker becomes singificantly worse. Take it from a fan of a team that had to deal with subpar kickers for years. It is one of the most imortant positions on the team.

There is a reason that the all-time scoring leader in the NFL is a kicker (Gary Anderson). In fact, here is a list of the all time scoring leaders in the NFL:

Ask New England about the benefits of having a good kicker. Games are won and lost on field goals.</div>

alright just look at Doug Brein and the Jets [IMG] ahhhhh lol
