I read, on SI.com, that following the butt kicking the Eagles suffered at the hands of the Cowboys, Terrell Owens wore a Michael Irvin throwback jersey on the trip back to Philadelphia. That really disgusts me. It's bad enough that Owens and Randy Moss have brought the word diva into football vocabulary, now he's managed to become the Jane Fonda of the NFL. I'm disappointed that his Eagles teammates didn't rip that jersey right off his back. Can anyone on this board tell me that they really would like to have this cancer on their team no matter how talented he is?

I guess the incident at mid field of Texas Stadium means nothing now?

    Great reference. Wow...

Would I want TO on my team? No. Moss? Yeah, I want him back. I never saw him become as much of a cancer as TO. Moss usually did not disrespect his teammates (with the exception of walking off the field at the Washington game, for which he apologized to his teammates). The times that he did, or he felt that he created a distraction, he usually apologized for it.

In the big picture, though, I think it is a proven fact that a star receiver does not win a championship. New England is proof of that.

TO and Irvin are friends so maybe they had some sort of bet. If not then he is cancer. I'll take Moss on my team anyday though. Like VF said he is no where near the posion that TO is.

It's called giving aid and comfort to the enemy. Owens isn't motivating his teammates. He's embarrassing them and destroying their confidence and morale. He's distracting the Eagles from their true goal of winning a Super Bowl and filling their heads with clutter. (if I may borrow some of Coach Saban's intellectual property) Owens is destroying the Eagles from within. It makes me wonder if he's someone's payroll other than the Eagles.

The fact that anyone could put a positive spin on this Owens' antic brings home the reality of this statement.

This can't be a surprise to anyone. TO is both entertaining himself and selling himself to the public. Porky hit it on the head. He and Irvin are friends. This is partially a Irvin thing (Cowboys aside) and partially a shock value/Cowboys thing.

That said, he is an elite WR. However, I'm convinced that there isn't enough difference between a top-5 receiver and a top-10 or top-15 to justify his type of destructive behavior.

No worries. There are probably certain liberties written into the bylaws. Actually, it is funny that you bring that up. I think Jerry Jones would have paid TO money for that showcase.

Similarly, I have been wondering if Peerless Price is on the Cowboys payroll partially just so he's not on the Eagles payroll.

well i dont think they would rip a jersey off, i mean the guy was a good player and TO has the right to wear whatever he wants its not like its a huge deal the guy wore a jersey get over it. But what im pissed at is the dam defense this is two weeks in a row they let someone jump on top of them, they know that mcnabb is hurt and will not be performing at the top of his game, and yet they still give no team respect reid needs to get a hold of his players and wake them the hell up and tell them to start taking this stuff serious. BDawk needs to take his defense are start getting them in line. There is no doubt in my mind that we could take the cowboys, but if we are going to do that our defense needs to take charge. Hopefully this bye week will be good for our players. And cowboy fans dont get all rowed up becuase i will bet that cowboys do not make it to the playoffs.

Owens has no right wearing a Cowboys jersey when he gets on an Eagles bus or plane. If the veterans on the Eagles can't pull him aside and tell him to cut that crap out, then perhaps it tells us a little something about the testicular fortitude of the Eagles. I'd like to see Randy Moss get on a Raiders bus or plane with a Chiefs jersey on.

Yeah cuz if defense had just held them to two touchdowns . . . .oh wait you still would have lost.

Since when are conspiracies gimmicks, Dale? LOL.

My list of title is growing longer; Dwo Conspiracy theorist, showstopper, & literary sniper. I can only fit so much on my business cards but its nice to be "loved". Does this make me the anti-Tko?

Since I'm the only Cowboys fan here, I'll assume this was aimed at me. You have never, nor will you ever, see me overreact from one game. I have already given my opinion of this gift of a game.

Dallas is two stupid plays away from being 5-0 and probably just a few plays away from being 1-4. IMO, the chances for the Cowboys make the playoffs as of now are probably better than I anticipated to start the season.

I'm not gloating or panicked. I expected to be here. Where did you expect to be in the division at this point? [IMG]

I agree with you Dale, that is disgraceful and as for GiantsFan, maybe if T.O got off his high horse and got off his butt too! It's not like those guys are not trying. They had a very draining win over the Chiefs and just did not perform. Even in his book he comes across as a cancer!

Being the wideout in the league doesn;t just mean catching balls, it means being there through good times and hard!

He values his opinion too much! Get off our screens T.O, I'm going to start a petition!!

Really? He's destroying the Eagle's confidence and morale huh? Did you interview the Eagles team recently, and they poured their hearts out saying how TO is destroying their dreams and all their hopes? I didn't hear any talk of how much of a cancer he was after the 42-3 masacre, or any other win we had this season. After we beat San Diego and TO gets his TD dance, we'll see how much of a cancer he is.

What's silver and green about that? You all make accusations at TO saying how he is destroying the team, what proof do you have of that? These are all grown men we're talking about, not high school Sophomores that can get affected by something like this. These guys are called profesionals for a reason

Unless that list includes is of self-serving, whiney, egocentric, professional pinheads then I guaran-damn-tee that list does NOT include Terrell

I'm so glad the Eagles have a bye this week so the McNabb and Eagle A$$ kissers in the media might actually have to talk about something worthwhile.
