Bwahahahahahaha!!!! That might be the funniest thing I've heard all day. I'm sure Donovan McNabb was laughing on the inside when he told Terrell Owens to keep his name out of his mouth.

BW - maybe it fair to say that the people who think the Eagles should be upset would be upset if they were Eagles. Whether they are announcing or not, I am sure there are some Eagles who are upset and some who could care less....just like in this forum.

TO is no dummy. He knows this will get attention, he knows it will rub people the wrong way. It sends the message that he's not loyal to the Eagles, and that he's going to do whatever he wants to do. He knows that message is being sent. That's why he did it.

If the Eagles starting improving, TO's issues will be less of an issue. If the Eagles struggle to regain control of the division, TO will make sure there are these small issues around. Its not what TO does that is always the problem, its just that TO has such good perception of what the media is going to focus on. Its the public reaction that can be cancerous to the team. Either he's incredibly stupid or he knows exactly what is going to happen when he does some of this stuff. Neither is flattering, but I believe the latter.

You may not think wearing the jersey is a big deal. But if you had known about it beforehand, you would have had to expect this type of reaction to something TO does. That said, it was a poor choice.

BW, of course it doesnt bother you as much, you werent there, you dnt have to go to work every day and put up with his antics. It is like having a co-workers who smells so bad, that when he sits next to you, you wretch in disgust, and even though people have been putting deodorant on his desk when he isnt looking, and have put signs on his back saying "I stink" he jsut doesnt get it.

If only they made silver and green gas masks :cheesey:

How is the North now? Terrible, and no, the Eagles have not won a SB, but a few world championships aren't bad. Especially '47-'48, only 2 championships won by shut out back to back.</div>

Really. Congrats to the Eagles in the late 1940's. You know I am not one to brag but the Packers have won 3 NFL Championships in a row before. In fact they did it twice. I also believe that they get 13 NFL Titles. Chicago may have more. Yet the NFC North Sucks? Every team has it's ups and downs. I noticed you didn't respond to the McNabb statement. Weren't the Eagles like 3-13 that year? I am not sure. I can't remember but it wasn't really good now was it. I mean picking #2 in the draft. You see my point.

All I know is we beat the crap out of T.O. and the rest of the iggles. It wasnt T.O. or anyone elses fault. We had great field position all game and finally didnt shoot ourselves in the foot. I doubt that happens again the rest of the year, but I am sooooooo happy it came about againt the hated green weiners. Now we're tied for last place in our division! Booooyah!!

Great, ignore everything else I said

I agree, but I still feel that it isn't totally unrealistic that maybe the team isn't concerned with it. This team has been through alot, and like I said, one guy's antics probably won't effect the team. After all, it's not the worst thing that has happened to this team.

Yes, teams have their ups and downs, so maybe this portion of the season (before the bye) is a down, and the rest is up. Since Andy came around, he wasn't great before the bye. After the bye, he is great, and I think the SD game will be a great illustration of that. I didn't respond to the comment because I had the impression that you thought drafting McNabb wasn't a good choice, but I understand now.

November 14th, remember the date. I am willing to bet my signature, avatar, and/or anything that this will be a massacre in the Eagles favor. Yes, you did beat the crap of the Eagles, but personally I think they were just outcoached and the Eagles weren't prepared. Dallas played very well, and the Eagles didn't, but that won't happen on the 14th. The Eagles are going to want blood on Monday night

BTW, anyone else think that this is getting a little unfair? :noworry:

Drafting McNabb was probably the best thing that ever happened to that franchise since the Super Bowl appearance against the Raiders. I think most of the fans wanted Ricky Williams.

Depends, if you want a big game QB, then it isnt. If you just want to come close and choke near the finish line, then yes.

Hey I rather be playing in late January than drafting top 10 every other year. [IMG]

That is a good way to put it. Just like beef said in another thread a month ago. I am not saying playing in the playoffs and losing is good but playing in the playoffs like the Eagles do gets their fans excited and they get to watched their team a extra game or two. I am sure when the Bears went 13-3 you had much more FUN with football than you did last year. Maybe Not. I am not you. Your you.

Greater fun with the wins, bigger let down with the loss. No matter what i have fun though
