Could this be the final thing that makes Iverson want out of Philidelphia. First game after being knocked out of the finals, He doesnt show up till after tip off to the "fan appreciation night". I dont know what was with that but it doesnt look good. Any ideas for where he may go? Or who they will bring in to keep him happy? Ive heard Garnett but thats about it.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting VinsanityVC15:</div><div class="quote_post">I truly believe they will keep him but if they get a good enough offer i think he can be gone.</div> Of course the 6'ers would keep him. Do you know the kind of money they make off of his image through ticket sales and merchandising? It's a hell of a lot more than they'd make off a player like Tim Duncan, or even Kevin Garnett. It's more of a question of whether or not Allen Iverson wants to stay in Philadelphia.
i say he is gonan say with tha 76ers and yea he gonan end his up retiring as a 76er in my opinion..cause tha 76ers have only been a known team cause of him without him they are gonna be noone
I say he's got one more year as a 6er, if the team doesn't contend next year, I think Allen's done there, then will probably get shipped for some young guys and an expiring contract in hopes to rebuild.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting NTC187:</div><div class="quote_post">I thought Iverson said he wants to stay a 76er for the rest of his career.</div> Yeah, thats one of my reasons why I think he`ll still be here. Billy King has nothing but respect for the guy, and he might want him to be a Sixer for life also.
I really think he'll retire as a 76'er because he's said that a couple of times. If he ends up going to another team it'll be because of the GM. But the probablility of that is slim, because they still need A.I

They should give Webber, Dalembert, Korver away and get a solid, younger player next to Iverson. Cause imo, Webber sucks.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting NTC187:</div><div class="quote_post">I thought Iverson said he wants to stay a 76er for the rest of his career.</div> its not really up to him though is it? unless he has a kicker built into his contract (which I doubt) then you go where you get traded... end of story. if they get a good enough offer, they will trade him... keep in mind, these are the same people that traded to get Webber (huge contract, bad knees and all).
THe only equal trade for AI would be KG, but that wouldn't get Minnesota or Philly any farther than they are right now, they need more players

Hmmm... As much as I lyk iverson, I say that he should find another team. He aint gonna get shyt in philly.

I actually think this is AI's faith.
