i think getting rid of maggette right now would be a bad move because he is coming off of one of his best years. he is the man and they are doing good with him. i wouldn't want to see him go if i was a clippers fan.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting LAKERSKB8:</div><div class="quote_post">If the Clippers get Chicago's 1st round pick for Maggette that would be great. I'd love to see Adam Morrison or Rudy Gay play in a Clippers uniform. And even if the pick goes any lower Brandon Roy or Rodney Carney would be adequate replacements for Maggette. Cory might get injured very soon which could leave the Clippers in a difficult place because Maggette is very good at getting to the line and those extra points count for alot in the long run of a game.</div>

i doubt my team the bulls will trade the pick from the knicks for maggette i can see our bulls #16 pick for him (we dont need two rookies) but not the knicks one they gave us.

    Starters

    Kirk Hinrich 6'3
    Corey Maggette 6'6*
    Luol Deng 6'9
    Tyson Chandler 7'1
    Nene 6'11

    Bench

    Ben Gordon 6'3
    Tyrus Thomas 6'11
    Andres Nocioni 6'7
    Chris Duhon 6'1
    Darius Songaila 6'9
    Antonio Davis 6'9
    Malik Allen 6'10

*corey maggette's injury may be a risk but its a risk we have to take i have faith he wont get hurt, he can get us more free throws which is one reason y we lose a lot because of the lack of free throw attempts. and if our guys develop consistency which they will next season.

watch out yall the bulls are coming back!!!!!!!!!!!![IMG]

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Buckets:</div><div class="quote_post">The only management I can see trading a lottery pick for Maggette is the Atlanta Hawks. No body else in the lottery would/should aggressively pursue him other than maybe the bobcats, but I doubt they give up a top 5 selection for Maggette.</div>
This would be probably has to be the worst case scenario right here. I mean honestly, we are logjammed BIG time at the SF spot. Last thing we need is a guy that is gonna complain about his playing time. We need a big man with that pick, I would prefer Tyrus Thomas, Buckets.

u never know they could always trade the pick up. those top five teams toronto chicago atlanta charlotte and portland are not giving up their top 5 pick unless u throw in Kaman and Maggette. lol but thats not going to happen.

The Jazz could really use him especially with Harpring aging and increasingly injured. As you remember they signed Cory when he was a restricted free agent, and they like him a lot. He'd be a great complement to Boozer and the ideal backup for Kirilenko.

I don't know how high the Jazz can pick, but he still fills the bill.
