Clippers fans, I sure hope you don't try the same game plan the Lakers used. You know, the one you guys used to beat us with that last meeting of the year. The Suns are playing defense now, and we've shown we can't be slowed down. Dunleavy will have to earn his paycheck in this one. Good luck.

alright stop fighting. seriously, anyone who says they know who's going to win this series is a liar. this is uncharted territory for both teams. that should make it an interesting series.

In many ways the Clippers are an easier matchup for the SUNs than the surprise Lakers. The Lakers team that showed up for the playoffs was nothing like the mediocre team of the regular season. Jackson had them ready to play. If Sam can stay healthy and on the floor, and Elton can play at his potential, it will be a great series, outcome unknown...Otherwise, it is SUNS in 4.

Anyway, the Suns can't beat the Clippers. The Lakers fell into the Suns trap games 5-7. They didn't pound it in down low, tried small ball for a bit, and shot a lot of jumpers and 3's. The Clippers won't do this so it will probably be a long series and I think Clippers will prevail. The Clippers have the biggest advantage in this series.

Don't worry, we even have polarized glasses, we won't be even affected by the glare from your rays.

As a Clipper fan, all I have to say is take it easy. I know you might be very angry your Lakers lost after leading 3-1, but the Suns can't beat us. The matchups are very weird in this series for the Clippers, and while we have advantages, so do they. There's not absolute here as to who can win. I feel the Clippers will win in 6, but there's about an equal chance that the Suns will win.

    Anyways, let's get it started.

I liked your assessment of my assessment lol......The Clips have to find a way to get points on the board...lots of points. The Lakers did the Suns the favor of a serious wake up call. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but the season record was 2/2. All the makings of a good series...The Suns x factor might be Tim Thomas....since he didn't play in any of the four games. He just might tip the balance if he can score and slow down Elton a bit. Go SUNS!

BTW the Suns promise not to yank on your Clippers NUGGETS!! (joke!!)

Correction: Tim played in game 4[IMG]

That's it Clippers, keep running! LOL! 130 points, are you kidding me? You guys had a week of rest, and you still gave up a buck thirty. Looks like trouble for L.A.'s OTHER team. Hope you fans have plenty of sun block.

I dunno....The Clips played very, very well last night. ( I was there ). Brand was just awesome and got anything he wanted at the rim. These Clippers are a MUCH better team than the Lakers. The outcome last night was in doubt until about 2 minutes to go. They are a legit second round contender. I think Brand put up some kind of crazy shooting percentage like 12 of 14 at the beginning. ...Hopefully he'll cool off some. This is gonna be a great series with two very fine, well coached teams. I'm rooting for my SUNS, but we're gonna see some great games...BTW Kaman is quite a weapon too.

The Suns ability to make 3pointers is unreal. They were just draining them in the 2nd half to get back in the game. I thought the Clippers played very well in this game. They shot almost 60%, had limited turnovers, got Brand 40 from Elton Brand, great bench production, but STILL LOST.

The one mistake the Clippers made was playing uptempo basketball with the Suns. They need to slow the game down and dominate the glass. You cannot allow Steve Nash to both score and distribute in a game. He accounted for 60points in this game.

Clippers need to step up their defense in Game 2 or this could be a quick series.

Clippers up 20 in game 2, they're dominating the paint. Looks like they're going to even up the series

Props to the Clippers, they played another good game. Unfortunately the Suns decided to not show up. I can't believe how lackluster they looked. Hopefully D'antoni can rally the guys and get a viable game plan.

Kaman did exactly what he's in there to do in game 2. That's what we need from him to win this series. The Suns are unable to defend the Clips, we know that, and if the Clippers can continue to establish this interior dominance, it will be great for them.

The Clippers had almost as many offensive rebounds as the Suns had defensive.

All the Clips did their part. I thought that game one was as good as they could play. ..Could be I wuz wrong there...

    Clips energy level 110%
    Suns energy level 85%

    Clips focus 100%
    Suns focus 85%

Elton is playing like an MVP too. Elton had Marion so occupied on defense that he forgot to play much offense. Shawn persists in jacking up 3 pointers instead of going to the rim and kicking out to a legit 3 pt shooter. The Suns are treating him with kid gloves, I think, because he is upset about not even being in the MVP conversation again. Trouble is his 3pt percentage is sub 30%. Might as well pass it to Sam. . ..

Cassel was vintage Cassel...played like he was 26 instead of 36.

Radmanovic was an unsung hero of the second half. Kaman sat a good part of the second half and Radmanovic rebounded OK and had the footspeed to keep the Suns from a meaningful run. If the Suns can get a split in LA, I still like 'em in 7. Otherwise. ...

    Go Suns...Rebound!!!

The Suns highlights were... .er..ah...the halftime show I guess.

Damn, how could they lost so big ?

Nash had an normal game. 14 points only and 8 assists.

Marion had only 6 rebounds which was a TEAM HIGH !:S

All the main players from the Clips played quite well.
I really hope that the Suns wont give up so many off rebounds in the next game.:S

Let's wait and hope for the best (GO SUNS !;D)

Kaman said he was really nervous and tentative in the 1st Game, because he was scared to pick up offensive fouls. One of the Clipper's announcers gave him a hard time about it, so in Game 2 he settled down and played up to his ability.

Dunleavy made the proper adjustments in Game 2 to slow the game down and not try to run with Phoenix.

In the Laker series D'Antoni needed 4 Games to figure out how to exploit the Lakers defense, so it will be interesting to see how he counters the Clippers game plan in the next two games.

most versatile team in the league

Clippers are the most versatile team they have a bit of everything - shooting, slashing, big men, you name it. they're definitely a dark horse against the Dallas/San Antonio winner.
