I wish the spurs would get rid of Nazr and rasho, right now we only have horry and duncan. Everytime nazr touches the ball he puts up a bad shot or turns it over, same thing with rasho. These two need to be traded in the offseason. We need a decent center to backup or start in place of those two clowns. They did good at the beggining of the season but now those two just seem not to care anymore. What do you think?
Rasho has always been a stiff, but I'm surprised at how poorly Nazr is playing. Last year he was crucial in the post season, especially in the series against Phoenix. You would think he'd be extra motivated since he's hitting the free agent market and post season success generally equates to a large contract. Popovich has always been able to get the most out of his players. I expect one or both to step up in the next game after Pop made them sit and watch the first three games.
For San Antonio to win this series, I believe they should go back to their conventional line-up and lock down the lane. Popovich has always stubbornly resisted making what he calls "reactionary" changes to the line-up. He should listen to his old quotes and "dance with one that brung ya". The Spurs have won more than 60-games with that line-up, and if they go down in series, it should be on their terms, rather than on the Mavs terms. Nazr and Duncan should patrol the paint and punish/intimidate anyone who comes into the lane. The Spurs are a great champion, and if Dallas wins this series, it is because they beat arguably the toughest team in the playoffs.
Horry has always given Dallas fits, so if he steps up in Game 5, then this series may go back to Dallas.
Horry didn't do jack **** in Game Five, but the series is still going back to Dallas. The thing is, with Dallas, there are hellish matchup problems. Who would Rasho or Nazr guard? If they guard Dirk, he'll score every time. If they don't, Duncan has to, and we can't afford to have him in foul trouble. I don't mind the prospect of getting rid of Rasho, but Nazr is a step quicker, seems stronger, and he just needs to time and motivation.
I still wonder what might have happened if the Spurs made the Mavs conform to their game, rather than going small to conform to the Mavs game. I guess we'll never know now.

I have no doubt that both teams will be seeing more of each other in the next few years. And if we fans are lucky, the series will be just as entertaining as this last one.
