Does anyone even go on this site anymore? Everyone of their articles worth a read is insider. I can't believe this crap.

I don't go to the forums or anything or listen to some of the guys closely.

Some of the Insider articles I've read are cool, though I don't have it.

I go to check out the headlines and page 2 sometimes... I agree though, most of them are always insiders and don't give any info at all unless you have a insider.

I just read Page 2 for Bill Simmmons....even Scoop sucks on espn.com, I used to love him on SLAM but all his damn articles sound the same to me now.

I especially hate that Gene guy...he has no basketball knowledge whatsoever and yet writes ball columns.

Yea, the sites pretty lame now. That and nbadraft.net used to be the two sites I checked reguarily for NBA/draft info. Now they've both been replaced by DraftExpress, Hoops Hype, and Yahoo Sports.

ESPN.com? You may as well write ESPN in general IMO. Their coverage is complete crap and their commentary is dull and incompetent. I stopped watching that network a couple of years ago. I find watching the Mexican channel coverage better than watching ESPN coverage of the World Cup this past summer. I don't understand what the hell they're saying but at least they have some emotion when someone scores a goal. Unlike ESPN, "Yeah, great goal, that was awesome." Even worse is their baseball coverage. Nobody has personality on there and they go off subject so often I feel like I'm watching some kind of talk show. Another one is Stephen A. Smith. Notice that he goes a bit overboard with everything he talks about. He could be talking about a pro player's marriage and he'd still be all serious about it to sell his show. What an idiotic douche bag.

I prefer the growing OLN network, which are bound to take away license after license from ESPN now that they are close to having more money, crazy enough. First it was Pro Cycling and the NHL and they did a better job with both. Now there are talks about MLB and the Great Outdoor Games changing sides. I'll be a happier man when that day comes sooner than later. The only thing I can complain about with OLN is the name change that will occur in September. They will then be known as [VS] Versus. What kind of a name is that? It's almost as dumb as TNN becoming Spike TV.

I only go to the NBA sections to check out the main headlines, just for updates.

I check it sometimes, but really, there isnt much to do on the site, since you have to pay to use everything pretty much. Its a joke, as if ESPN doesnt have enough money already.

Yahoo! Sports is the way to go.

Yeah, I only read Bill Simmons, other than that, I go there just hoping that they accidently left a good article off the Insider... which is very rare.

I'm wondering if you got pissed at the same thing I did. They're hoarding the coverage of the world championships. They write and article on team USA, put the picture on the front page, and you can't even read the main article.

I'm fine with all the side articles being insider articles, they're just trying to screw you out of your money, but I can't get any information about the US team without having to pay.

I have Insider, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. As far as the Team USA coverage, I've been posting articles in the Olympic Basketball Forum located in Other Basketball ...

    http://www.justbball.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=129

Also Ming637 posted a link to a blog where the writer has been keeping tabs on the team. It's main focus is on the two Wizards Arenas & Jamison, but it's informative...

The Insider coverage on the team isn't very good.

*I agree with you there. I like how they have the whole country, state by state, breakdown the votes for the question.
