Bartelstein said that Pargo has a player option for the second year of the contract. Pargo joins another ex-Bull Tyson Chandler, who was traded by Chicago to the Hornets for forward P.J. Brown and guard J.R. Smith earlier in the summer. Smith was then traded onto Denver after spending less than a week with the team. Pargo is set to provide insurance for the Hornets starting point guard Chris Paul and recently signed backup Bobby Jackson at the point. </div> Source
An amazing pick up by the Hornets at this point in free agency, Pargo is an excellent backup point guard who can easily step in, and play heavy minutes if an injury should occur. Pargo does not get the credit he deserves he is a far better player than people make him out to be he just needs an opportunity. The Hornets have an A+ grade from me for their off-season.
Damn the Bulls are to NO what NY is to Chicago. But Pargo deserves more minutes. the guy is a heartless shooter and a great signing for NO.

Jannero Pargo is one of my favorite players, I dont care if he's a role player or a superstar the guy can flat out play. Remember him in that playoff game against the wizards a few years back, remember him when he got cut from LA and went to T-Dot and broke Zoran Planinic's ankles in his first game? I think this is a grea t pick up but what is going to happen to Moochie Norris? Or is Moochie a FA?
