<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">ESPN - he U.S. Department of Justice on Monday sued Los Angeles Clippers owner and real estate mogul Donald Sterling for housing discrimination, claiming he refused to rent apartments to blacks and families with children. Federal prosecutors contend that Sterling, his wife, Rochelle, and their family trust refused to rent to many prospective tenants, treated them poorly and misrepresented the availability of apartments to them in the city's Koreatown section. The defendants also are accused of refusing to rent to black prospective tenants in Beverly Hills as well as families with children looking to rent apartments that the defendants owned or managed in Los Angeles County. "Here in Los Angeles, where housing is already at a premium, it is imperative that no one be denied housing simply because of their skin color, ethnic background or because they have children," said U.S. Attorney Debra Wong Yang.</div> Source That's disgusting.
you would think being around the sport of basketball all these years would have opened his eyes beyond skin color but apparently not
I'm sure this has already affected some of the players on the Clippers. Finding out you help support a guy who thinks less of you. But what can you do? This stuff has been going on generation after generation. Thats why its good to see minorities becoming involved in Franchise ownership. Its a new day and age.
this is old news in a sense that this isn't the first time he's gotten sued for this. He was sued for the same reason about 5-6 years ago if I remember correctly.

" I only want white guys on my team " "Well sir there is only like 4 guys in the NBA that are white....." "GET ME THEM! "
^I think Utah is the biggest case of wanting white guys who play good theyv'e managed to get their hands on the best white guys to ever have played sans Larry Bird

Wasn't there a huge article on this guy and what an ass he is in Sports Illustrated about two or three years back? I forget where I picked that up first. I'm sure some of you know what I'm writing about.
