I remember he had some pretty good times with the Hornets back a few years.

Yeah, he was averaging 5.6 ppg, 2.2 rpg, and 2.1 apg and started 7 out of 29 games before getting injured (back spasms) and missing the rest of the season. His most successful season was with the Nuggets in 2003 though, when he started 51 games, averaging 5.1 ppg, 3.0 rpg, and 3.4 apg.

Based on those statistics, you'd think he would have been on an NBA roster last season, but I'm really familiar with his game outside of those statistics, so I can't really add any insight as to why he wasn't, but I do vaguely remember whispers of him coming into training camp with the Nuggets in terrible shape and having a poor work ethic.

Only time will tell if he fits in with the Grizzlies, but I doubt he even gets off the bench with Stoudamire at fully health and both Atkins and Lowry signing deals. I wouldn't even be surprised if they cut him before the season started to clear up a roster spot.

I can see what you mean, I never heard those rumors or reports about the bad work ethic but I wouldnt doubt them. I still think its good that he got picked up because he's a talented player.
