I just heard on the News while I was flipping through the channels that there is a report that Childress will be the next Head Coach in Minnesota.

It was likely that this child was going to coach the Packers if not Vikings.. Childress was suppossed to fly in for a interview yesterday but never made it and now we no why.

Maybe Childress can get Culpepper back on track. If he can that can be a great team. I think the Vikings need to address the offensive line and the running back position

Wow...I'm a bit speechless. I hope he's as good as he's been talked up to be.

Well he was def the hottest coaching prospect this off-season outside of Greg Williams.... I take it you didn't want him..

I'm kind of surprised that he didn't go to Green Bay to interview first, seeing as how Ted Thompson has history with him. Maybe Childress thinks Thompson is as big of a dick as I do...

Quite honestly, I think this is a good thing. It GREATLY increases the chances that Jim Bates will be given the head coaching job in GB. That's the only way I'll ever forgive TT for canning Sherman for essentially no reason.

Childress explained in his interview this morning that he never had a chance to goto Green Bay - the Vikings pursued him too hard. He also claimed that the Vikings position was the best open coaching position because the team is in such a good place right now.

    Good press conference.

Im sure glad im not the only one who thinks Ted "Cheap Ass" Thompson is a dick, Sherman getting fired I think was the big F U to Favre, Thompson won't last long unless he brings in some definate help this offseason instead 3rd rate Free Agents, I thought O'Dwyer and Klemm would be adequate but boy was I wrong, Klemm didn't even finish the year as a starter, and O'Dwyer didn't even make it past the pre-season. A sixth round Rookie who has potential but is very raw started over both of them! Earl Little forgot how to tackle, and Artruo Freeman who I thought was better than Roman got cut before the season started!(Roman performed decently though). So basically our Free Agency period was a bust this year, if thompson wants to stick around he'd better try and bring in some good offensive linemen, We have the Cap room to do so.

Oh I believe Thompson future is with Rodgers if Rodgers shines Thompson is going to be here for a while if Rodgers Busts then Thompson will have a short stand here.. It's the beauty of taking a QB with your first pick EVER.
