Me too. I'm going to sacrifice a chicken and a lamb so they win!

They're store-bought and going to be BBQ'ed but it's the thought that counts right?

Meh. I'm a Giants fan, but we have no hope till we lose Morris, Wright, Benitez, Sabean, and the Alou's

Considering the way the football teams have been playing, not so sure. The raiders have been pretty awful without any real starting quarterback.

At least the Oakland Raiders ownership doesn't suck compared to the ownership in SF. The niners need to hand over the family business back to Eddie D. The league should pardon him because the current ownership has turned one of the nfl's most popular franchises into a trash bag. They're overpaying unproven players, drafting the wrong guys, and they lack big men protection and go-to scorers to give the QB something honest to work with.

I'm down with Oakland A's and their general management. Sabean used to be cool but he blew it.

Imagine if they gave him a budget. All the reason to support the A's, even if they move to San Jose, I will love the franchise. Of course I am known to sway between Giants and A's because I like Bonds, even though he did "the clear".

Baseball... zzzzzzzzzzzzz. Sorry, I know you all love it, but they lost me the year they got rid of the world series... now I can't even identify 10% of the players in the league. The Warriors miss the playoffs for 13 years and I keep comin back though.

Imagine if Foyle used that stuff. He might actually be good enough to play.

C'mon at least Barry has skill enough to make use of his new muscle mass. He's a great contact hitter, he reads pitches excellently and can swing fast and accurately.

Foyle's head would only get bigger and that's about it. Won't help his skill at catching, understanding plays, and not missing so many open dunks and layups. What Foyle needs is a brain and hand transplant. Heck even the hands of a worm ought to be better.

Foyle is a smart guy, but his natural understanding of the game is not so good. But while I run my mouth off, I'm sure he can run the court a lot more without getting tired than I can. Also, he's a pro athlete. That's hard to do even if one is 6'10. I know some 6'10 guys and they suck worse. They cannot catch, score, or block shots. Big dudes like that are kind of clumsy actually.

I used to root for the Giants as well as the A's before they signed Barry. He's a great player but he's not a team player of any sort.

I guess I always liked the underdogs, too. Thus, the A's, even though they've always done well they're always underdogs (in terms of money and big name free agents, and even in trying to get the darn South Bay territorial rights). On the other hand, the Giants, led by Barry, seemed to represent more of excess with no substance. Where's the soul man, where's the soul?

Ok, maybe a little too deep but my point is GOOOOO A'S!

Damn right! I'm a big fan of billy beane ever since that moneyball book came out. Out of the box thinking, turning art of general management for small market teams (or any team) into a science. I love it.
