I just heard from a friend that the current rumor is that Daunte could be traded in the next day or two. The Jets, Baltimore, or Oakland seem to be the likely targets.

All I can say is that if the Vikings are able to work a deal, get the 13, 17 picks, somehow move up to get Leinert, it will be worth it. Ok, so I'd take any QB who can get us to the SB, but I think trading Pep would be a mistake knowing how volatile the QB market is.

the dolphins were mentioned too in the article i read, and they pick 16th, which is right in that same frame....I suspect the deal may be something along the lines of 16th pick and Ricky Williams for Culpepper and and mid rounder....

If this does happen and we do get an extra 1st round pick. Maybe we could trade both of the picks to the Texans and get David Carr.

I was hoping this would happen soon. I knew something like this would happen. I wouldn't mind having him in Baltimore. He can utilize Derrick and Mark and actually do something with the offense.

Daunte would be better off somewhere else it seems...like oakland...where they dont judge you if you take steriods or break a teamates face...
    -the true question is...

if there was a sex boat scandal in oakland would he have been a part of it?

There wouldn't be a scandle because it would of been out in the ocean and no one would of known what was going on. So if there is a sex boat party and Daunte was in Oakland he would attend.

I think Baltimore should take the biggest try at this Dante, because the Ravens have so much talent, but the offense is holding back the team.

I hope he is gone. I was a Culpepper fan until I heard all of his "I want to play where I am wanted" hogwash. But now, I am happy with Brad Johnson as our QB for the next 2 years. Cya Daunte.

haha Like I said a few months ago the Culpepper being traded wouldn't be a shocker to me and these rumor coming out aren't much of a shocker to me.

be careful inviting him might start a fight with Pennington...of which (with his arm strength) Penn would fall well, well...well short...
