I'm just so pumped up for the mock draft that I've been doing some research. Since I didn't have time last year to do one this will be my first one I've ever posted on this website. Please note that this is my first ever posting and I am free to take your bullets and comments.

    1. Houston Texans - Reggie Bush, RB, USC
    2. New Orleans - Matt Leinhart, QB, USC
    3. Tennessee Titans - Vince Young, QB, Texas
    4. New York Jets - D'Brickashaw Furguson, OT, Virgina
    5. Green Bay Packers - DeAngelo Williams, RB, Memphis
*6. Oakland Raiders - A.J Hawk, OLB, Ohio State
*7. San Francisco 49ers - Mario Williams, DE, NC State
    8. Buffalo Bills - Haloti Ngata, DT, Oregon
    9. Detroit Lions - Jay Cutler, QB, Vanderbilt
    10. Arizona Cardinals - Michael Huff, CB/S, Texas
    11. St. Louis Rams - Jimmy Williams, CB, Virginia Tech
    12. Cleveland Browns - Chad Greenway, OLB, Iowa
    13. Baltimore Ravens - LenDale White, RB, USC
    14. Philidelphia Eagles - Winston Justice, OT, USC
    15. Atlanta Falcons - Tamba Hali, DE, Penn St.
    16. Miami Dolphins - Eric Winston, OT, Miami
    17. Minnesota Vikings - Laurence Maroney, RB, Minnesota
    18. Dallas Cowboys - Marcue McNeill, OT, Auburn
    19. San Diego Chargers - Santonio Holmes, WR, Ohio State
    20. Kansas City Chiefs - Bobby Carpenter, OLB, Ohio State
    21. New England Patriots - Ko Simpson, S, South Carolina
    22. Denver Broncos (From Washington) - Mathias Kiwanuka, DE, Boston College
    23. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Ernie Sims, LB, Florida State
    24. Cincinnati Bengals - Leonard Pope, TE, Georgia
    25. New York Giants - Tye Hill, CB, Clemson
    26. Chicago Bears - Vernon Davis, TE, Maryland
    27. Carolina Panthers - Merecedes Lewis, TE, UCLA
    28. Jacksonville Jaguars - Elvis Dumervil, DE, Louisville
    29. Denver Broncos - Dernell Bing, S, USC
    30. Indianapolis Colts - Broderick Bunkley, DT, Florida State
    31. Seattle Seahawks - Taitusi Lutui, OG, USC
    32. Pittsburgh Steelers - Nick Mangold, C, Ohio State

I tried to keep note on each individual team needs and the person who IMO would pick. Like for instance, the Chargers will go for Santonio Holmes since Keenan McCardell is 35 years old and is going to retire soon or the Broncos picking Dernell Bing to become John Lynch's successor. The first 5 picks where a no-brainer but when it got to the 16th to the 23th pick, it was... hard... keeping track on who's not drafted. There's a chance that Jay Cutler will drop to the Dolphins but we know that Matt Millen has saw the light and he has to have one good draft before he's fired. DE and OT prospects are high in the first round and WRs and TEs will be taken late in the draft. For Pittsburgh, I decided to go with a Center because I think they will resolve the Randle El situation soon. BTW, my favorite pick is LenDale White is going to the Ravens. I also think the Cardinals picking Michael Huff is a potential steal in the future because he could play both Safety and Corner in the NFL.

I made this topic for everyone to post their mock drafts and I want feedback as well. Please post your mock drafts, it will give me more ideas or at least what are the team needs.

I think the Packers will take Mario Williams with the #5 pick...assuming Thompson doesn't start trading down to accumulate a bunch of extra 6th and 7th round picks.

I don't see them taking a running back that high.

i think your draft is a little off...i especially dont see the steelers taking Mangold when they have Hartings, who was in the probowl, they will probably get a reciever...

I bet you anything, that the Eagles will NOT draft a WR in the first round...They will draft a OT, DT or a DE. Most likely the best of what's available at that position on the board.

Panthers are never going to take Mercedes Lewis because he cant block. Panthers #1 requirement of a TE is that he is a beast a blocking. Then if he can master blocking then he can get on the field. The only TE the panthers will draft in the 1st round will be Leonord Pope.

If the panthers dont make a run on a RB in free agency and let Stephen Davis go look for them to move up in the draft

Rumor has it that Alexander is interested in Carolina, Arizona, and Jacksonville. We'll have to see what happens there. I think Foster could be huge if he's a permanent back though.

The panthers would have to do a lot to get Alexander because they are one million over the cap, 1. restructure Julius Peppers contract because he is making 14.5 million 2. Release stephen davis.

I would absolutle love to have alexander but the panthers have to resign Witherspoon and McCree. And the Cardinals are 23 million under the cap so they can offer him a huge contract if he decides to leave, hopefully Alexander wants to go to a winning team and will accept less money.

At the pro bowl practice he was wearing a panthers hat, which made me really happy.

i really hope leonard pope is available at the 24th spot he would be a lock for us... but the bengals are def. not going to draft a LB in the first round this year they're linebacking core is "decent" and young, they will go for either a TE or DB.

I heard that as well - if he went to AZ, they would be really scary. All they would need on offense is a decent QB and their offense would easily be a top 10 offense.

Their offense was already ranked 8th this season, so they are already a top offense. Warner may be old, but he led the league with five 300 yard passing games this season, and they just got done signing him to a new contract. Alexander to the Cardinals means Arizona in the playoffs.

    Ranman:

I think if Arizona doesnt land Alexander they will either draft Deanglo Williams or Jay Cutler to groom for the future.

I think Miami will not take a WR, they already have a good WR core in Chambers, Booker and Boston.

I like the Jimmy Williams and Lendale White selection. 49ers got run over in the on defense and they need a star in that defense. Lendale White is the best fit a RB for the panthers.

Veron Davis will be the 1st TE taken in the draft. He is the only TE that can catch 90 balls a year. He is super strong and super fast running like 4.3-4.4.

panthersare#1, why won't you post your mock draft and see what you think might happen. You have to back up what you say and I'm not competely sure this might happen because the FA market isn't open.

I agree w/ Bakes. Saban with his SEC knowledge will take McNeill.

No way he takes Winston (U Miami). Former 'Canes do not make good 'phins. Vernon Carey may the exception to this theory
