    Chad Jackson & Maroney, obviously

David Thomas TE Texas. Was Vince Young's best friend. Now part of Brady's Bunch. Pats and their multiple TE Sets are pure genius.

    G. Mills TE/FB Tulsa. It confused me at first especially w/ Thomas being picked ahead of him then I realized GM will be the heir for Patrick Pass (the receiving FB).

Yeah I think most fans will be pleased with this draft. Although we fully expected them to address the glaring needs at LB & DB, the Pats did get good value especially in Chad Jackson & Ryan O'Callaghan on day 2.

Chiefs could use Ty Law. They still need secondary help IMO.

Law visited Seattle last week and is now talking with KC. The Browns, Patriots, and Dolphins are also considering him.

Miami ruled out Law long ago.

very good picks, I still think DeAngelo would have been a better selection for you with your 1st rounder.

I know DeAngelo was the guy fans had in mind when it came to selecting a 1st round RB, but after seeing Maroney 1st hand I think the Pats made the right choice. Only time will tell.

I agree. Maroney has looked great so far. I was hoping the Pats wopuld take him after watching him at Minnesota. He's explosive and looks like he can break tackles as well as outrun defenders.

I see Corey Dillon as a change of pace back by week 3.

I met Maroney and actually talked with him. Heck I played NCAA and Madden with the guy. He's a stand up guy and a good player to be around. I wasn't as high on him as I was with Williams but he certainly proved me wrong in preseason with the way he played. The Pats and Broncos were the 2 teams that I thought would've taken him ahead of Williams and sure enough the Pats did. Maroney should have a big year and I think next season will be a breakout player.

I love Chad Jackson. Huge Steal. and Maroney did pretty amazing in the pre season. They had a great draft.

Chad Jackson has bust written all over him right now. He needs to see the field first before I even call him a steal. At the time he was a steal but right now he looks soft and isn't making the noise that Greg Jennings is.
