Good job to Green, but his first dunk was probably the best out of all the dunks he did. That angle does it no justice, his head was above the rim.
Yeah, his first was DEFINETLY his best, it was freaking awsome. Then he was gonna jump over the cardboard Nate, but then Nate ran out to help him
The first dunk was incredible, but the D-Brown tribute was more amazing in my opinion. Not only did he jump over Nate, he also wasn't looking when he was in the air. Gerald Green is a great dunker, a lot of hops on him.
I`m happy for Gerald. I thought all his dunks were awesome, but on the windmill dunk at the end...didn`t he take off from the FT line?

Good show Liked the dunk contest, have to say that it was a tie for best dunk between Dwight Howard and Green. That first dunk that Green did was the sickness. The sticker dunk was just flat out ridiculous, 12'6" are you freaking kidding me. A few years ago that last dunk would have killed, but not anymore. I liked that Nate was a good sport about the dunk over him. In an unrelated story, shooting stars needs to be stopped, now.
I'll say it again: best dunk contest in years. Gerald Green electrified the nation and still saved some of his best stuff for next year
Aww damn I can't see the first pic. But I do got it recorded. His eyes are a lil over the rim I think damn. And Green did look at the end but he still jumped over somebody to do it so I felt it was a little better then Dee Browns. I rather have seen Dwight in the finals. He probaly would've made Green go through his legs on the last dunk then just a windmill. I say that because Dwight would've made all his dunks. Nate though I give him props for trying. Does kinda kill the contest alot really. Lol
I saw Gerald interviewed on ESPN's Rome is Burning. He said he had a lot of stuff planned that he didn't do because he didn't need to in order to win. He also said he wouldn't participate in the dunk contest next year if the Celtics have a losing record at the time.
<div class="quote_poster">Blur Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Quick question, why did his headband say 2?</div> It was originally from Red Auerbach night earlier this year (the #2 is retired by the Celtics in Red's honor).
Celtics play by play announcer Mike Gorman mentioned that one of Gerald's planned dunks was for Paul Pierce to wheel out a slot machine and start dropping coins in/pulling the lever. Then he was going to do his windmill dunk over that instead of that table he ended up using. But I guess when he asked for permission from the NBA, they said no. Apparently he was also hoping that Dwight Howard wasn't going to get the rim raised to 12 feet, because he was hoping to use it, too.

It wasn't the best ever, but it definitely wasn't the worst. The year Barry won and the year Fred Jones won come to mind. I'm sure there are others that were just as bad.
