<div class="quote_poster">Kwan1031 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Both LA teams have 5 games left, and if there is at least one loss, we will get one PO spot by winning all 4 games. Dallas game may be huge...</div>

Well right now the Lakers are 40-40 with two games left Vs. Seattle, and @ Sacramento. The Clippers are 39-40 and have three games left vs. Sacramento, @Phoenix, and vs. Hornets. The Warriors are also 39-40 and face Minnesota on Sunday at 12:30PM (which is kind of scary since I don't think the Warriors have done so well in these types of Sunday afternoon games - but they're in a playoff race, so it shouldn't matter), then vs. Dallas, and @ Portland.

lol, ok now I understand you. I had to write this all out so I could comprehend what you were saying. If the Warriors win-out, it will be huge for their chances. A loss would be tough for the Warriors. The Minnesota and Dallas games seem to be the toughest in my opinion, considering the injuries Portland has right now. It would be awesome if the Suns and Hornets can defeat the Clippers for us. But I think our plate is pretty full enough infront of us to worry too much about what the Clippers do. Out of five games I would guess it is somewhat likely that either the Clipps or Lakers will lose at least once: which means the Warriors will need to win-out to take advantage of that one loss.

Is KG going to play on Sunday? Last I heard he was out indefinitely. [IMG] He didn't play tonight.

I am more worried about Portland who we have lost to the last few times at their place. They looked pretty pathetic last night against LA though...

If we are able to win the next two going into portland, the game wont even be close.

I think the W's had won the last versus portland until that blowout loss when Baron couldn't play, so I'm not too worried about Portland, especially with Randolph, Udoka, Aldridge, and Pryzbilla out.

As long as Baron is playing, this team has a good chance of winning any game.

You are right. That was a game where Baron Davis was not playing. Since Davis has come back I think we have a 13-5 record or better. So since Baron should play in that game I will feel better about it. Plus Zach is not supposed to play which is a relief because he killed us down low in that game...

That was also a pretty low point in the season. We were 29-36 after that loss.

Yeah I forgot Baron not playing in the last game is probably the biggest reason why we got blown out. I hope Dallas rests their starters like they did against Utah last night...

Highly unlikely considering Cuban gots beef against Nelson and plus, do you think they'd want to play the Warriors in the playoffs? Each game is critical, and I think they want to keep us from making the PO's IMO.

They tried to beat us twice already this season and failed. Bring it on [IMG] Oh yeah, don't forget to remind them who it was that broke their longest winning streak [IMG]

You guys are underestimating the Mavs... sure we've beat them the past 2 seasons, but they're not a team to look down on even if you've got their number.

And like AF knows, the playoffs are a different game than the regular season. In the playoffs they actually bother to play defense. The Mavs made it to the finals for a reason. It's basically the same team.

It sounds like Tuesday should become the decisive game of the season for the Warriors and Clippers. If the Clippers and the Warriors win tomorrow, then Tuesday's Warriors vs. Dallas and Clippers @ Phoenix games may become the decisive day for the playoff standings.

Damn Washington game, hah. Hopefully the Warriors can take care of business and be fortunate enough to make the playoffs.

I'm sure Cuban and the Mavs will be up for the Warriors.

First, Cuban had that feud with Nellie and he would love nothing better than have his team knock the Warriors out of the playoffs. Second, the Warriors beat the Mavs last time and ended their 17-game win streak. Furthermore, the Mavs know they'll meet the Warriors in the playoffs if the Warriors make it so it will be important for the Mavs to change the tone of the Warriors being one of the few teams to beat them. Oh I'm sure the Mavs will be up for this one.

The good thing is the Warriors are playing them at home.

Well, I won't say that you are wrong, but Cuban isn't the head coach. I am not sure what Avery Johnson's game plan will be, but it probably won't be to force his players to play it like it's a playoff game to risk an injury, which would actually hurt their chances in the playoffs. Also the Warriors players will be geared up to beat the Mavericks on the flip side to possibly show up Cuban as well, for their coach. Also Jason Richardson and the gang (Monta, Jackson, Baron, Harrington) are zoned in on making the playoffs and doing everything possible to do so. Don Nelson and the Warriors will play this game like it's a playoff game certainly. But I am not sure if the same can be said for the Mavericks. So if there is an intensity advantage it may go to the Warriors. But also, there is no way that Dallas will just rolls over and let the Warriors win either.

Either way you slice it though, Tuesday's game should be very competitive. I like how this team is playing, and it just looks like it can beat anybody on any night right now. This starting lineup has been awesome. I like the rotation without Sarunas and Foyle, especially (one thing that bugged me after the trade was how much Sarunas was playing, I am happy to see him get a smaller role).

One thing that slightly worries me is Wednesday's game @ Portland depending on how Tuesday finishes. If the Warriors play a long and exhausting game on Tuesday night vs the Mavericks, then I could see some lag going into the Portland game, a second game of a double header and on the road. This is why I am hoping that the Warriors can clinch on Tuesday.

I'm actually starting to wonder if I should root for the Lakers to lose. Sacrilege I know. But the possibility of the Warriors ending up the #7 seed and being rewarded with 7 games against the Suns is not an appetizing one.

I think you guys should be rooting for the Lakers to win. You have a better chance against Dallas than Phoenix IMO.

Anyway/how the Warriors make the playoffs, I'm good with. The Warriors have beaten the Suns, and in the last meeting. Right now I think the Warriors are playing well enough to give any team trouble in a playoff series. Also, maybe if the Lakers lose tonight, then just maybe the Mavericks will take it easy on us on Tuesday, because maybe they'd rather face the Lakers? But then again I don't know much about how that matchup has faired recently. But who wants to deal with Kobe and Phil Jackson in the playoffs? Right now I would consider myself a beggar, and remember that saying "beggars can't be choosers" so say let's hope the Lakers lose and the Warriors get closer to the playoffs, even if it means finishing 7th. I think for the NBA fan Lakers/Suns and Warriors/Mavs would be the ideal matchups considering last year's Lakers/Suns series and the Nelson/Johnson matchup. But yeah the Warriors haven't quite made the playoffs yet, but they are sitting in a good position, with fate in their own hands. Just win-out!
