The Bengals have selected ILB Ahmad Brooks in the 3rd round of the supplemental draft. They forfeit their 3rd round pick next year. Ahmad Brooks reminds me a lot of Ray Lewis but with tons of character problems. He was kicked out of Virgina, and now Marvin has to deal with two headaches Chris Henry and Ahmad Brooks if he doesnt mature.

When you get compared to someone as like them, but with a ton of character problems, and the person you are compared to was tried for murder, you know you are a bad seed.

Word is Odell Thurman tested Positive for Drugs and will serve a suspension. So lets see Chris Henry(Last year 3d Rd), A.J. Nicholson(5th rd), Frostee Rucker(3d Rd), and possibly Odell Thurman(2nd Rond last year), all have issues, now you bring in another possible distraction in Amahd Brooks, Marvin is just asking for trouble, I really dont see the logic in this move either espcially when they have 9 LB on the roster so far with at least 6 of them capable of starting.

I was going to point out Rucker & Nicholson but FP beat me to it.

I'm glad Saban passed on Brooks & rather he sign that Juco LB as a FA.

Why didn't the Bengals load up on all these bad eggs when it didn't make any difference. Back then they needed these guys to at least get some kind of attention. Now they're finally winning and it could be brought down. I think Marvin's a good guy to deal with that stuff though

Word out of cincy is that marvin wants to move to a 3-4. They already have a good 3-4 OLB in Pollack, and they have Sam Adams who is a run stuffer, they might be able to do it.

I doubt they do it this year, probably next, they have the personel to do it though, this was my first initial thought but I doubt they do it until next year, they may do what the Dolphins did this year though and split time between the 3-4 and your standard 4-3.

Yeah he missed one, thats the rumor, but why would he miss one unless he knew he was doing something he shoulden't of, I hope it turns out to be a misunderstanding im an Odell fan but if it turns out to be true, 4 games is what he deserves.
