No I wouldn't be down at all. They weren't prepared and they're mature enough not to let a badly officiated and badly played game affect their next performance. The Pistons haven't seen what the Bulls can offer to the table while they brought all they had to that first game. I was impressed with the Pistons' depth.

Is there any more excuses? Go ahead send them my way 58-43 at the half. Chicago hasn't been able to put anything together only a few spurts here and there. I DO NOT see us losing this game, unless Chicago can manage a run which does not seem likely I see another 20+ victory. You heard it from Webber "This is not the same team that was here last year." I might be getting ahead of myself, we still got a hell of alot of basketball to be played.

So far, this is definitely more exciting than Warriors-Mavericks. [IMG]

Another easy Piston win. Bulls really need to get a post player this summer as without one they will not contend for a title. It's weird but Orlando gave the Pistons a much tougher time in the palace than the Bulls did and the Magic were said to be the worse ever team in the playoffs.

Maybe Bulls will play alot better in Chicago, they will need to..just to compete.

I think the Bulls will win both games in Chicago, but that's it. I think the Pistons will close them out in 6.

I think we'll split the games in Chicago and win game five. I just don't see us sweeping Chicago. I do not think we should even be talking about sweeping there is still alot of basketball to be played. And Swish you are exactly right the series is not better then the Mavs/Warriors. But like I said still plenty of games left Bulls could still make this a series (I'd rather be wrong and take the easy win) Thursday decides whether we get the brooms out or not.

Dude, the Warriors were up 3-1 in that series, I dont understand how you think thats somehow more exciting than 2-0.

For one, the series started 1-1 which means the possibility of the sweep was out the window right away. Secondly, the games were actually close unlike these ones. Third, the lower seed was pulling off the biggest upset in NBA history according to most announcers while the Pistons, the #1 seed, is winning as expected. Also, the style of basketball the Warriors play is so fun to watch. Hell, they even made a game against the methodical Jazz exciting last night. The team that barely made the playoffs (and hasn't been in the post season for 13 years) took down the powerhouse with the season's MVP. Aside from the Bulls and Pistons fans, most basketball fans and casual fans would find that more exciting. It's just that you guys are a bit biased since your team is competing in this series. It's understandable and I don't blame you.

M Two One, I'm not a bandwagon fan. I'm rooting for the Warriors because my team, the Magic, are out of the playoffs. I love underdog stories so I want to see Golden State succeed. As a Magic fan, I never thought I'd be accused of being a fair weather fan but whatever. The Magic got swept and Golden State is still competing and is fun to watch so yeah, I'm rooting for them. Just because I said that the Mavericks-Warriors series was more exciting, doesn't mean you have to accuse me of being a bandwagon fan. Most people choose a new team to support once their favorite team is knocked out of the playoffs so lay off. With the way your Bulls have been playing, you may be choosing another team as soon as next week too.

I'm not saying you're wrong, its just I dont understand how you're defending one lopsided series over another.

Pistons were supposed to win as the #1 seed and they are. Hell, the Magic-Pistons games were closer than these Bulls-Pistons games.

Mavs were supposed to win after looking unstoppable all season and they didn't, losing to the playoff team with the worst record in the West.

Seems more exciting to me. [IMG] I understand your a Pistons' fan so your going to be more entertained by this series. I guess you have your opinion and I have mine.

Well, that certainly was an exciting win today, lol. I really thought we were done and dusted, but the boys managed to pull through in the second half and come away with the win.

It's also nice to see us closing out games strong in the Playoffs so far, this was my number one concern heading into the post season, seeing as though we had such poor 4th quater showings during the regular season.

What a coincidence, I said the exact same thing in the Bulls forum.

Anyway, the Pistons are just too poised and experienced for the Bulls. Coming back from 19 against a vociferous Game 3 crowd is definitely a testament of the Pistons composure as a team. Like I said before, even if you don't like them, you definitely have to respect them.

Imagine if the Pistons win a championship without Ben Wallace.

My friend that is not a imagination; that is a reality. I feel we are the best team in the NBA, biased or not you decide. I don't see anybody stopping us in the East, bring on Cleveland I'd love to send them fishing again. I have had a ton of confidence in this squad since aquiring Webber (before that I couldn't tell you where this team was going.) I'll stand by my word til the very last buzzer, this has got to be the Pistons year.
