<div class="quote_poster">Detroit Madness Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">My friend that is not a imagination; that is a reality. I feel we are the best team in the NBA, biased or not you decide. I don't see anybody stopping us in the East, bring on Cleveland I'd love to send them fishing again. I have had a ton of confidence in this squad since aquiring Webber (before that I couldn't tell you where this team was going.) I'll stand by my word til the very last buzzer, this has got to be the Pistons year.</div>
You're right, 'imagine' wasn't the correct word at all since it's a very realistic possiblity. I, too, feel the Cavs (or Nets) won't be able to compete with the Pistons for a full 7-game series. Kudos to Joe Dumars; this is a very well-built team. If the Pistons win a championship without a perennial DPOY and all-star in Ben Wallace, Dumars has to go down as one of the best GM's of all-time, IMO.

This is the day folks. Although the ECF is nothing new for us, I'm glad to be at the point we are at now. The bright side if we lose today is that we don't have to wait as long til the next round, but better safe then sorry. Who knows we might make a run at the '01 Lakers record.

Wouldn't it be nice if we swept every team and win the champ this year.

Yeah, no brooms needed for this series.

If you win, we'll live, but it won't be a sweep.

The way Bulls played in that 4th quarter won't give them alot of confidence heading to Detroit. Up 21 and Pistons cutting the lead to 7....Pistons overall played like crap and Bulls deserved to win. Guess it was too much to ask to get a sweep but still I expect the pistons to win by double fiqures on tuesday to close this series out.

^ perhaps, you never know. A win is enough to give any team confidence to play harder.

I gotta agree with AllNet watching Bulls lead diminish right infront of the United Center for the 2nd game was priceless. Gordon hit that huge three which lifted them down the stretch. I know we won't be needing to fight back at the Palace its just a matter of getting out to a big lead and not let this Bulls team hang around. Congrats on your run Chicago you get to fight for atleast one more game.

Like I said in a earlier thread. the pistons better win this game tonight because if they dont they have opened up pandoras box. Lets face it; the bulls are becoming a better team with each game doesnt everyone agree?

I just checked the boxscore, what the hell happened. Tayshaun and Richard got to step it up a bit more.

We were simply too good today. First half we were shooting over 70%

Pistons defense was beyond terrible. Bulls proved again that they are a jump shooting team and only that. When they shoot great they can win games.

Pistons will close out in Chicago. I have no doubt about that but they must get that focus back.

Flip Saunders is the softest coach in the league. Why on earth did he take his starters out with 6 mins left in the game?

He took them out with 3 minutes, not 6.

You my friends, have yourselves a series. Bulls are halfway to breaking a record, and I don't like it. Thats three games in a row where we trailed by 20+ points and its starting to scare me. Chicago has tremendous momentum heading home. Gordon could not miss, Hinrich played excellent, Tyrus Thomas had some big plays, Deng was Dang good. Bulls shot 57% from the floor which I do not expect in Game Six. Come on Pistons...no more predictions for me...just win.

Yep the Pistons won 3 games but there is a reason its called a 7 game series. they had the dog in the cage but forgot to shut the gate.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">With the Bulls' depth and resurgence it is hard to bet against them even though they will be facing a tough Detroit team. Both teams have unselfish players who distribute the ball more frequently then most teams. If everything falls into place and everyone makes their usual contributions night in and night out this Bulls team has the chance to take out the Pistons in under seven games. If the Bulls crash and burn they will have a difficult time staying with the Pistons who could toss them out in six games. Above all else, expect a very tight series.</div>

It has become an exciting series now. Nothing of old though.
