I'm not real happy about this, but it looks like the announcers don't like it for Charlotte.

I rather have J-Rich just because I don't know if Brandon Wright will fit the run and gun style.

I know me and you had our spats but this trade really had to be done.

I mean...really, I'll talk about it more later.

I am really sad. Like Jamison, Richardson was another productive player and solid citizen, who stayed through horrendous seasons. This really is a salary move, because we have no financial room to resign both Biedrins and Monta, and we were in a situation to trade either Richardson or Monta. Have Mullin signed better, we could have avoid this. But, I guess this is a reality...

Wow, looks like I'm a major minority here but holy **** I'm pumped. I love JR but love Wright too and imagine he and Biedrins in the forntcourt/ Holy hell, sorry to see JR go though.

WOOT Jamareo Davidson! Guys legit, suffered horrible tragedy but guy is a great defensive/rebounding big man. Great athlete. Love the pick.

Ok .............. this has to be a pick or move for minnesota......; it has to be part of the young guys they coveted.... and part of the deal allowing us to get Garnett....

If not this may be the straw that breaks this fans back...

After this i could really care a less about the 2nd round picks anymore...

Glad to see you're happy dude.

I didn't love this kid but what were you going to do? Keep JRich and one of lose Ellis and Biedrins and have no PF? It's a roll of the dice and I DEFINITLEY UNDERSTAND why this was done.

We traded away Jrich for a 6'10 guy who weighs 20 lbs less than Jrich?

Oh man... this guy better be a Chris Bosh clone. God forbid that he's a Joe Smith clone.

That was a gank against Jrich if I ever saw one. Guy tastes the playoffs only for him to be shipped somewhere else.

Lol, thanks I guess. I'm just hoping this guy proves me right and turns out to be a stud. It does hurt to have J-Rich go. The guys been here through thick and thin and hes been the heart of the team the entire time, he never gave up and never complained and was a consummate pro. Hurts to see him go but like I said one of JR or Monta was a goner because we couldn't afford to pay for both, I'm just glad that whne we did trade them it gives us a shot at a very good big, whether it be B. Wright himself or a move to get KG.

If I remove all my personal feeling, I know this is a great move. Bottom line is that we needed to make another salary dump to resign Biedrins and Monta (or trade one of Biedrins and Monta). Since nobody will touch Foyle or Harrington's contract for an expiring contract, the obvious choice was Richardson. And, when push comes to shove, we may have to just dump Richardson for an expiring contract like what we did to Jamison. We actually find a sucker... I mean GM to take Richardson's 12 mils per year contract AND receive top 10 pick, so it really is a great trade. But, I am just really sad to see Richardson being squeezed out due to financial constraint, especially when he was the heart and soul of Warriors through hard time. So, out of Mullin's initial signing, only Foyle stays... Sigh...

oh wow ..... and wright is a shaq from the free throw line ....56%...... excellent ....way to go

His jump shot, which has nice touch inside of 12 feet, all but disappears beyond that point. His free-throw shooting is just as poor. He shot only 56.7% from the line, in large part to his awkward shooting mechanics. At times it appears that Wright is almost lackadaisical on the court, relying on his natural abilities and not showing any intensity.

We traded the heart and soul of our team for this? great.... always love them low intensity lackadaisical players

    2 scenarios

    1. we get a big man for the next ten years. Either solid or really good.

    2. cash in and make a legitimate run for Kevin Garnett.

Ellis and Wright is an excellent package for McHale.
