Latvia will play friendly vs Italy Monday. And it's called Euro cup And both Bargiani and Belly will play for italy. Here is recap from last game: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> With 14 points and 5 rebounds, and a lot of energy under the boards, Danilo Gallinari (202-G/F-88, agency: Players Group) was the main factor in the win of Italian National team, 72-66 over Croatia in Final Game of the "Gianatti International Tournment" played yesterday in Bormio. The two NBAers Marco Belinelli (196-G-86) and Andrea Bargnani (209-F/C-85) added 15 and 12 points, respectively. Led by Mario Kasun (213-C-80), who scored 14 points, Croatia was a very good challenger, ending ahead in the score the first three quarters and showing to Team Italy how hard it will be the next European Championship. Serbia took the third place in the tournment, defeating Australia 86-81 in the "Little Final"</div>
I like Bargnani and Belly on the perimeter. They are so dangerous out there. Hopefully Latvia will give Italy a run for their money.
Latvia vs Italy is on right now. According to the guys watching it on RealGM Biedrins is giving Italy a lot of trouble. Probably a tough matchup for them because Biedrins is athletic enough to keep up with Bargnani fairly easily while also killing their soft frontline in the paint on offense and rebounding. Not much word on Belinelli.
Italy's been playing Bargnani at the centre spot, so I'm not surprised that Biedrins is doing well. He owned Andrea in that one game early in the season (although that was before he started getting consistent playing time). Italy really has some promising young talent coming up.
Belinelli had a game high 23 points, Biedrins was second with 16 points. No box score yet so all we have is points and FGM/FGA.
Nice video there Warriorsfansnc93. It looked like Biedrins got a little hurt there when he spilled to the floor. It looked like he re-entered the game, so hopefully it's all fine. I loved AB's hands. Marco looked like he did in the summerleague. Good stuff. I am happy for Latvia. They seemed like they gave Italy a tough match there. I am assuming from the closing of the clip that Italy pulled it off at the end.
I wonder what was going through their minds when playing eachother. I wonder if they were thinking about how they were going to be teammates.

I love watching Bellinelli shoot the lights out, but it seems to me that that is the highlight of his game. I would like to see the guy get much stronger so he can get inside and finish. And perhaps he'll also play some tougher defense too. His game reminds me so much of Ray Allen, but not as good of course. Free throws would also need improvement to match Allen's ability at the line. And there's always the possibility that Bell could also struggle in the consistency department shooting very low %'s, especially from 3 point land.

A low-post game on the block wouldn't hurt either, and while he's there he can learn how to block shots in the paint, too... lol j/k Custodian

Let's just say Monta is more willing to go inside, but that may be because he's tougher and completely a lot quicker.
