False: She'd score more than Sene and Petro combined, but she has to get ready to beat the US in the Olympics next summer. Can't risk injury before then.

True/False: Everyone is sick of this game but has nothing more interesting to talk about when it comes to basketball.

False: This is the hottest game on S2 and really the only thread that I have posted in since the merger. I feel like I need a compass to navigate my way through this new and improved (so I've been told)site.

T/F: Former Iona star Tariq Kirksay has made all fans of the French National Team forget about Mickael Gelebale. (I played against Tariq in college and I am glad that he is doing well for the French National Team. I'm reaching but that always seems to be the trend in this thread.)

    False. But nice name dropping.

True or false? When I played pick-up ball with Nate Robinson, my shoes were blue.

False: You wore the shoes that Nate told you to wear.

T/F: The Blazers are already regretting picking Greg Oden over Kevin Durant.

False: The fans are moaning but the FO is drooling at the long termprospects after three years of top notch draft pick rebuilding. Roy, Aldridge, Oden and....Beasley maybe?

True/False: Flip Murray will sign in Europe after he gets cut from Detroit's camp this season.

False: I do think that there is a chance that Flip will get cut, and if it does happen he will sign with the Sixers for the minimum and find a way to get booed by his hometown fan base - even though he'd be the bestscorer on that team.

T/F: Sweet Lew will give the Sonics 40 when he returns to the Emerald City.

False. He'll probably take 40 shots, but Howard will be the chief destroyer.

T/F - KD will outscore Ray and Rashard at least one each in a head to head battle this season.

True: Considering that Ray is competing with two future Hall of Famers for shots and Rashard isn't a guy who typically explodes for outrageous numbers I'm guessing that KD can take advantage of his favorable matchups against the Celtics and the Magic. It is pretty easy to be a stat stuffer when you are the number one, two, and three option for your team.

T/F: Sam Presti has been given far too much credit for the current state of our roster.

False: He may have been given to much credit for how good a job he's done, that remains to be seen. However, he DEFINITELY engineered its current state.

True/False: Paul Westhead leaves the WNBA to be an assistant on the Sonics if his team wins the championship on Sunday in Detroit and stays if Bill Lambier out coaches him for his third title in 5 years.

lol all you want casual, but their finals series has been far more entertaining than the spurs/cavs series (i slept through half of it despite the fact that I LIKE Lebron and Duncan's games).

you have two NBA champions coaching the teams and they both play a style that echoes their coaches...besides Karl Malones daughter is a way better rebounder than he ever was...she just needs to learn his turnaround jumper. they actually reflect lower altitude versions of their nba counterparts...detroit is all defense and interior muscle and phoenix is run, run, run , and shoot, shoot, shoot.

even Henry Abbott over at TrueHoop was surprised at how entertaining it was...

    btw casuals still up...

False: Unless the west sees major injuries to almost every team the Sonics will fight to get 35 wins.

True/False: The physical toll on the franchise man will be too much for Durant and he will end up only playing65 games this season with injuries taking him out for long stretches.

False: The elite players take care of their bodies enough so that they are not sidelined with nagging injuries. I think that Durant has a chance to be great, therefore I am giving him the benefit of the doubt with his pain tolerance and his physical conditioning. Unless he breaks a bone in his lower body or tears a ligament I think that he will be active in 95% of our games.

T/F: We will have a four man big man rotation that will include only Chris Wilcox, Nick Collison, Robert Swift, and Kurt Thomas. (Meaning that Johan Petro and Mo' Sene will not be in the rotation this season).

False - Sene wont get any time but Petro still will get a chacne to play some.

T/F: Wally has a good season - proving detractors wrong. He's still got something left?

False. Regardless of his offensive weapons, he will play terrible defense every time he steps on the floor. Wally plays a position that requires him to be a good defender, and the more time he gets the more games it will cost us. If he plays any more than Kerr time he will be the balast of the team.

TorF, The true Sonics fan is more excited going intothis season than they have been since Kemp was receiving dimes from GP.

True. The hype around Durant is enormous, and everyone will be desperate to see how he adjusts and develops.

T/F - Delonte will be our starting point guard in more than 30 games.

True Delonte is the better option at the point as far as defense goes!

Swift leads the team in rebounds this year?
