They don't benefit at all from this, they get a runningback who is a couple years older with NO success at all in his NFL career.

Both were rookies last year so neither is really older than the other if I'm mistaken.

I don't like the move but Gado was not getting this system. He wasn't playing well in preseason or camp.

Morency looked good in Houston but I'm not as sold on him as I was Gado.

Morency will probably return kicks with Robinson now. That's probably why the move was made. Green is the featured runner and I don't think Gado ever was the replacement for when he leaves.

Morency is 26 years old, I seriously doubt he is any improvement over Gado whatsoever, I vote we give Thompson the boot right now.

A scrub that ran pretty damn well behind broken O-Line against the Bears vaunted Defense last season.

Gado showed alot of potential last year, but if he's not getting the system I guess might as well give someone else a chance. Also as stated above we may need him to return kicks when Robinson gets suspended...

Houston wins the trade, but Gado loses in the trade as well. He has to play in a crowded backfield with Lundy, Dayne, and possibly Davis next year (if he isn't traded/cut/etc.).

Kick returner and I think that what Thompson was looking at when he made it. Gado is a good guy but he's nothing more than a situational back in my opinion in this league. I wish him well but this isn't a make or break move for the Pack.

Eh... Yeah. I don't see any reason for this whatsoever.

Houston runs the same system as us, so what sense would it make for them to grab him if he didn't get the system.

Has Morency played any Fullback? The Packers cut Vonta Leach to make room for Koren Robinson. Do you think that might be a factor since Gado bombed at Fullback?
