<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Orlando Sentinel - Orlando Magic shooting guard <u>J.J. Redick</u> has a broken bone in his right hand, but the club expects him to be ready when it begins training camp Sept. 29. Magic General Manager Otis Smith said Friday he did not know when Redick injured his hand but the 6-foot-5 former Duke All-American has been wearing a soft cast for the last week. "We're not sure when it happened," Smith said. "It could have happened when he was working out, playing pickup or when he was playing with USA Basketball. "I don't expect J.J. to miss any time at all. I'd be surprised if he's not ready for camp."</div></p> </p> http://www.orlandosentinel.com</p> </p> Another injury before the season starts, this is getting excessive. I'm hoping this season doesn't turn into a mess like last year was, I don't want to see a ton of injuries again. Either way, this shouldn't hurt the Magic much, he didn't play a big role at all last season. However, he did make promises to improve so this will definitely slow down his developement.</p> </p> </p>
He should be fine and ready to go for training camp so that's a relief. I think this will be a big year for Redick because unlike Brian Hill, Stan Van Gundy actually wants JJ to be a part of our offense. He should get a lot more oppurtunities and I'm looking forward to seeing if he can take advantage of that. JJ has really grown on me since coming to Orlando and I hope he can succeed under SVG.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (peg182)</div><div class='quotemain'>JJ sucks. Salim was better than him anyways, he just didn't have coach K and a good supporting cast. </div> <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>"There's a bit of information (our publicist) shared with me about Redick being the best shooter in the country," Olson began. If he hit 71 consecutive field goals, he'd reach Salim's field goal percentage shooting. If Redick made 53 consecutive 3-pointers, he'd tie Salim for 3-point field-goal percentage. How in the world can somebody continue to go on TV and say Redick is the greatest shooter in the country?"</div></p> Great quote from Lute Olson...</p>

I'm sure. </p> </p>
