Tough break for Shaun, but I think the Hawks are balanced enough to withstand his loss for at least a few weeks. Unlike the Panthers with Steve Smith.

The Seahawks are a real threat this year. Alexander will probably be back pretty quick and they will continue to throttle everyone they play. I just hope that our 1st round pick from them isn't #32. But then again WE may get pick #10 or so if we don't get some life back into the team.

Alexander hasn't been healthy this season at all. He's been playing on what has been called a "soar" foot. It's actually been bone bruise that got agrivated into a crack as he's played on it over the last 3 weeks.

"The three-time Pro Bowl runner suffered a bone bruise during a 9-6 victory over Detroit in the season opener.

Alexander?s foot buckled slightly, aggravating the injury, when Arizona?s Antrel Rolle pulled him down by the collar following a 14-yard run the following week. Alexander scored on a 2-yard run the next play.

The injury went from bruise to break sometime during Seattle?s 42-30 victory over the New York Giants on Sunday, Holmgren said."

What I don't get is the fact that they are referring to this as a non-weight bearing bone. If it broke, it must have beared some weight, right?

It doesnt matter whe the injury occured, as long as it was after the game came out, and it was....the Curse lives!
