First TD. Saw that highlight. Looked impressive. He didn't try to juke out everybody as much as he usually does...

Hey Bro you don't have to wear the T. Smith sig anymore, it was only for a week. Or maybe you have switched to the Goodside [IMG]

yea he has done well on punt returns but what about running the ball he really hasnt gotten so many yards on the actual carries he does get. Though when he does develop more him and Duece will be an INSANE 1-2 duo

He had a huge game today vers the Niners..172 yards from scrimmage and 4 TDs...On one of his receptions he seriously juked out 3 guys, shed about 4 tackles, and then proceeded to drag 7 defenders about 5 yards down field to the one yardline.[IMG]

yea he had an awesome game, signs to come from reggie, i think hes going to do his best as a WR in this league. I bet they convert him next season but still put him in sometimes for the running games.

He didn't do anything rushing...He benefited from Deuce's great runningattack..But, he was great recieving...Good game for him..He is still very overrated though..

Try the other way around....McAllister started piling up his yards late in the game. Bush had more carries than Deuce at the half and Bush already had two TDs. No one ever said he was going to shock the league running the football this season. It's all the different positions he could play that made him so dangerous. He ripped up the Niners today and if he's overrated then how bad does that make the 49ers? He's not a rookie of the year, but he's the type of weapon that is not found very often in the NFL. He can beat a defense in a variety of ways and it has taken him a while to understand what he can do. Do realize that he is learning two different positions this season at RB and WR. He's not rookie of the year...no doubt about that...but he's not overrated either. It's frightening how good he could become.

Oh and btw TP...since you always accuse people of not watching 49er games...I did watch this game...Every last minute of it. Then I proceeded to watch the Cowboys until about 5:45 until I had to be back up at church. Now I'm watching Denver/Seattle...just to fill you in on my entire viewing schedule like you have requested before...

Thank you very much...I took a mental note of your viewing schedule...Could u send me a PM of what game you watched on every Sunday...THX.[IMG]

Bush was being compared to the next Gale Sayers.....LaDanian Tomlinson,etc...He was widely considered as the definite rookie of the year(NOT ME)....For this, I consider him overrated...Doesn't take anything away from him, it just takes away from the credibility of the idiots who were saying all that....

    Coming Into Today.....
    Laurence Maroney-
    610 rush yds. 4.0ypr 4 td's 33 1st downs 5 20+yds
    188 rec. yds. 10.4ypc. 1 td 11 1st downs 4 20+yds

    Reggie Bush-
    331 rush yds. 3.0ypr 1 td 12 1st downs 0 20+yds
    431 rec. yds. 6.8ypc 1 td 20 1st downs 2 20+yds

I'd like to see how much Reggie makes per game compared to Maroney....These were the stat comparisons coming into today.......ONE game does not change the fact that he has been vastly overrated..

The thing is...San Fran does not have much speed....Jeff Ulbrich has trouble chasing people down..They have two athletic linebackers in Lawson and Moore.....Derek Smith is a lot like a Brian Urlacher-type...He typically chases people down...But, Reggie had way too much speed for the defense...The combined attack was lethal...McCalister bruised the defense and Reggie just ran away from them...I was impressed with him today but he is still overrated..

man, i don't even know what to say.

the weapons we have on offense is crazy.

I hope Colston is back against the Cowboys. Man that would be great.

If Bush can average 7 receptions per game for the rest of the year he will beat Tomlinson's record of 100 receptions by a running back in a season. Considering that Brees was the same quarterback that helped LT accomplish that feat and now he might help a different runningback on a different team break that record is awesome. No one could have predicted that.[IMG]

They're within 50 yards of each other in yards from scrimmage, and Maroney has 11 more first downs. TD's IMO aren't a common stat to compare since N.O. has so many other weapons, including Deuce who's so effective in the red zone.

Overrated? No. A bit slow getting used to the NFL... Sure.
