Mark Schlareth hit it right on the head just now on sportscenter: T.O has become a model teammate, and has shed his past reputation. Its about time the media is aware of how awesome TO has become off the field. The way he praised our defense, coordinators, Romo, and special teams makes me proud to have him wear the star.
Schlareth: "TO is the greatest teammate on the face of the earth right now."

I saw that very story. The key words in Sclereth's quote were right now.
Just imagine what happens if the Boys go on a 3 game losing streak and TO catches say 4 or 5 total during that stretch?

Not with this offense (I'm not saying dropping 3 in a row is impossible, but that he'll only catch 4-5 during a 3 game stretch is impossible).
Even when facing adversity last year, TO didn't throw anybody under the bus like he has in the past.

Hes never beena problem when he gets his catches and he gets his money....selfish players dont complain when they are performing well....nothing is impossible btw, and WR do go through periods when they dont catch balls, hes no different

Didn't throw anyone under the bus last year? Are you kidding me?
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16763968/

Of course TO is fine now. He's getting to be a big part of the offense and the team is winning. But like others said, if the team hits a rough spot and/or he isn't getting the ball as much as he thinks he should, it'll be the same old TO.

T.O is a team player when he is winning....you can still see the oversized ego he has when he does a celebration after every catch...and smack talks before a game....the thing is he has not been put through a real test he has been winning....and when t.o is winning hes not whinning.....wait..thats all you have to do...just wait.

I missed 1996 by a whole freaking 23 days. Still,Turd Orifice'sremarks show exactly what kind of character he has. Could he let a future Hall of Fame coach walk out the door gracefully? No, he had to blame Parcells for the Cowboys not getting over the hump. The truth is Parcells retired because he couldn't stomach another year of coachinga drama queen with bad hands. Turd wasquick to blame Parcells, but he always had an excusewhen he was dropping footballs left and right last year. If the Cowboys start to struggle, Turd will show his true colors.

We're talking about teammates, so I'm not sure why you would bring in a guy who isn't on the team as evidence. Plus TO wasn't the only one who voiced displeasurement with Parcells. Julius Jones, Marcus Spears, Kevin Burnett, and just about half of the Cowboy nation wasn't pleased with how the team was performing. But as I said, it's a moot point, since we're talking about him as a teammate.
EDIT: oh and that excuse for dropping balls? He blamed it on himself; specifically his broken finger that he played through. Still lead the league in TD passes though.

Owens was a good teammate during most of that first season in Philadelphia, as well as originally in San Francisco as well. This is no different. It's easy to point at him now and proclaim him as a new and improved model teammate, but the truth is he's never complained or been a problem when his team is winning and he's gotten his stats. I don't believe he's changed one bit.

This is just another extreme view to take on Owens. The Media went crazy in Philly, but I'm not going to proclaim Owens a saint either. The guy does have some issues (nothing egregious) but as a professional, one needs to get over it.
