All of them fight in a one month span!
Dawson is fighting a replacement for Adrian Diaconu. That would have been an interesting fight, but I've seen countless instances where the replacement comes in and gives the favorite hell.
Pavlik is fighting the "undefeated" Jermain Taylor, a fighter I believe has lost four fights. I think Pavlik is the hardest pound-for-pound puncher in the world. I will be very disappointed if he doesn't take out Taylor.
Kessler is fighting Joe Calzaghe Nov. 3 in Wales. I have been looking forward to this fight for a very, very long time. It could be an all-time classic.
Let's see if all of my guys come through!

YES!!
Congratulations to the NEW Middleweight Champion of the World, Kelly Pavlik!
He was almost knocked out in the second round, but he came back to score a brutal 7th round KO and finally defeat Taylor.
Pavlik really evokes Thomas Hearns.
And the judges, BTW, were in the process of handing Taylor another crooked, undeserved victory. F*ck you, judges!!
Pavlik is a great guy, has stayed loyal to his childhood trainer, and is a credit to a sport that rarely deserves any.
CONGRATULATIONS!! WOOHOO!!!!!!

The Judges had the fight 59-54, 58-55 and 58-55 for Taylor. That is disgraceful.
Taylor HIMSELF said he was losing the fight.
I had it 58-55 for Pavlik. If someone had it 57-56 for Taylor, that would be a score I disagree with, but reasonable.
Those scores are just pathetic. 59-54??!! WTF?!
They landed the same amount of punches, but Pavlik's were harder and cleaner throughout the fight.
His jab was brutal.
I am so incredibly f*cking glad Pavlik didn't let these a-holes get their filthy mitts on this fight.
And I'd also like to say that Taylor came ready to fight and didn't back down at all. He earned some respect from me tonight, and I have never liked his style.
He was also very classy in defeat. He didn't whine about anything and just said he wanted a chance to work hard and win a rematch.
All he has to do is go the distance and he's a lock to win, I guess.

I think most pugilist specialists expected Pavlik to win this fight, compared to the more amateur fanatics of the sport. Jermain finally got exposed for the fraud that most of us examined him to be. I'm sad I didn't get to see this, as I don't get HBO at this point, but I expected Pavlik to win, but I will most definitley make it a point to see the Kessler/Calzags fight, as thats one of the only fights I've really been pumped to see in the last 5 years or so. Thanks for the news ghoti, appreciate it.
So are you taking Kessler over Calzags? I'm a huge Calzaghe fan, him, Paul Williams are my top 2...I also have a soft spot for Jorge Arce, just becasue he's teh Mexican Cowboy and rides a horse to the ring sometimes.

Betting on a boxing match is a total crapshoot. Betting in general is the same. Look at finals versus the spreads, it still amazes me to this day, odds makers are the men.

He's such a smooth cat and he is a blast to watch fight.
Hopefully this will turn out to be a great trilogy of fights.

Well, two out of three, anyway.
Joe Calzaghe is one of the best fighters I've ever seen.
No one else in a long time has been at the level he is right now.
He's like watching vintage Jordan.

Calzaghe!!!!!!!!!

Eat sh*t ghoti and your boy Kessler.

I do like Kessler though.
Why does Calzaghe want the Executioner??? He'll demolish him.
