<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (DaPackersGb)</div><div class='quotemain'>It says it on NFL.Com.</div> That's retarded if it is....Harrison and Wayne are both much better....It's eays to get good stats when you are the only player on your team..

Not enough Bears in it?</div> there are plenty of bears in the probowl.. Its about who is the best in the NFL.. Not well its Tiki let him in.. Westbrook has been the much better player this season and is more deserving.. And you really should not make every post i make about my team.. I am not like the jerk off fans you have in your area.. so stop treating me as one.. the shit is old</div> The Pro Bowl has never been about the best in the NFL so I don't know why you're all up in arms. There isn't an all-star game in any sport where the best players play. It's always about seeing the most popular players play while some of the best players get thrown into the mix. This isn't a new thing that happened this season. If you've just now lost your respect for the Pro Bowl then you're pretty late in doing so. The All-Pro team is a better honor to be named to. It's decided by the AP that has rightfully kept Art Monk out of the Hall of Fame, which I saw mentioned earlier. Forget about the game...no one watches it anyway. That's the game that they should be putting on the NFL Network. I haven't watched a Pro Bowl in probably 10 years. I just have no desire to do it...
I havent watched the Pro Bowl ever. Westbrook still shouldve made it, definitely one of the better offensive weapons in the NFL
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (nflfan04)</div><div class='quotemain'>I havent watched the Pro Bowl ever. Westbrook still shouldve made it, definitely one of the better offensive weapons in the NFL</div> Me neither. But I might watch the skills competition though.
Yeah the probowl is nothing more than a glorified scrimmage...The best part is the skills competions.Hopefully this year the special trick plays that the fans get to pick for each team to do are actually cool and work....I remember last year LT was supposed to do a half back option pass, but McNair fumbled the snap.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (TheBeef)</div><div class='quotemain'>Romo has 16 TD passes and 11 of them have come against teams with losing records....against good teams? 5 Tds, 9 Ints....thats against teams with winning records....way to light it up TR....this guy is playing just like Grossman, up and down, but because hes the starter in Dallas, hes getting the pub....what a freaking joke....</div> The biggest problem with criticizing the selection of Romo is that there really isn't any other 3rd QB to put with the first two that is any better. I don't know that I consider him probowl worthy, primarily because he has only started 8 games so far. The 16 TD - 10 INT is what it is. You can't compare winning records or losing records because plenty of good teams have horrible defenses and bad teams good defenses. Plus, if you want to talk winning records, then you have to take out the 5 INTs against the 7-7 Giants. That makes it 5 TD and 4 INT. Do the same for Brees and it looks a whole lot better because of his 5 TD 0 INT performance against Dallas. In his other 3 games against winning-record teams, he threw 8 picks with 8 TDs. The other thing you have to remember that this is the NFC where only 5 teams in the conference have winning records right now. What do you want from a probowl player out of this conference? I looked at Romo's performance against a bad team like the Redskins, and he had the best completion %, most TDs, and least INTs when compared with the 6 other QBs that have played against Wash since. That includes McNabb, Delhomme, Vick, Garcia, and Brees. Playing just like Grossman is a little exaggeration too. Grossman has 6 games with a rating over 100 and 4 games under 40. That leaves only 4 in between. Romo has played 4 games over 100 and none under 40. 58.1 is his lowest. And its not like the Bears play teams with winning records much either.
All that said, the Probowl is for the fans as much as anything, so it is tough to criticize the selections too much. There's also All-Pro. However...in the NFC, Brian Westbrook was the first snub that jumped out at me. Terrence Newman was the second. Newman should have made it before fellow Cowboys Roy Williams or Tony Romo. I was glad to see a good number of players represented from non-playoff teams as well.
I just wonder what happened to all of those votes Grossman did on that commerical with Muhsin Muhammed?

Hey did you know that each of the three QB's you just mentioned all played for the 9ers at sometime in the career?
