Man, the game is so fast paced I can't understand what's going on. It's like the micro machines guy...

I guessing Jack and Barnes are holding the ball a bit more or Azu is that good at not turning it over. 4 assists from Jack, 2 a piece from Barnes and Azu.

    Barnes is looking good.

Pietrus and Barnes are doing great in terms of scoring (Pietrus with nice three pointers) but they've been too aggressive with the defense. Oh well, better than being too soft, I guess.

I really like hearing how Patrick O'Bryant is being the playmaker tonight from the high post. Azu has also has some nice numbers and Troy Hudson seemed to be doing better.

I hear Lasme is quite the jumping jack and is an amazing sprinter.

CR2, I have noticed that my sig works now as opposed to on the JBB board. Any chance of me getting an updated sig?

I can try. I gotta get some artist inspiration though, WF. Otherwise, it's hard for me to finish something. I am not really a pro artist who can make something out of nothing, so I gotta really imagine something good. For me, it kind of takes a while. But I'll give it some thought on what I could make.

I finished watching this game (downloaded it from Taco Bell on ww.net), my impressions in players:

Azu looked good again, same old stuff from him; 3 pointers, driving and getting to the FT line, played some decent defense, and rebounded well. Wasn't quite as dominant as before but still did quite well.

POB was very good again. He hit two beautiful jumphooks from about 8 feet out, both of which were executed very quickly but with perfect technique (good backspin on the ball, high arch, etc.). Had a nice putback dunk as well and changed a lot of shots. In the 3rd quarter he was passing beautifully, his 4 assists weren't a fluke. He made several great passes from the post to cutting players and one pass from the perimiter that stood out which was when he was at the top of the 3 pt line, Azu ran under the hoop and out toward the 3 pt line then made a reverse cut back to the hoop and POB hit him perfectly in stride for the easy layup. Very nice game by POB showing some more offensive ability.

Lasme was in for a little while and didn't look too bad. He gets his hands on a lot of balls, few of them turned into extra possessions in this game but I'm sure if he keeps it up he'll be the type of guy who just bats rebounds away from the defender for extra possessions. Dude is very athletic, he'd be a freak athlete even if he was playing the 3. He looked bigger than 6'7, I thought the theory that hes got an Elton Brand body held true; he has a very short neck and his shoulder height is probably right up there with a 6'9 guy. He runs the floor like a deer, got to the Ft line several times, had a nice dunk that showed off his athleticism. He got injured though and had to leave the game, nice showing but nothing too spectacular.

Brandan Wright looked pretty good at the beginning of the game but didn't play again until the end of the game when Lasme got injured. He had a nice play where he got the ball under the backboard, made a strong drop-step type dribble backwards to give himself some space, then went up quickly and explosively and put it in for an and-1 play. He had another play where an offensive rebound was batted toward him and he went up quickly while falling away to put it in from about 5 feet away. Hes got a very nice touch around the rim and can definitely finish. There was also a play where Jackson took it down the lane and kicked it out to Wright who was wide open on the baseline and he hit a good looking 14-15 foot jumpshot but it was waived off because Jackson was called for traveling. He had 4 pts and 3 rebs IIRC when he came out of the game mid-way through the first quarter so it was a very nice showing at that point. After that he didn't do much though in his limited time in the 4th Q. Looked solid, not as lost as POB did last year, I don't think hes that far off from contributing but it'll be hard for him to get minutes with POB playing so well.

Croshere had a similar game as he did on tuesday. He couldn't hit anything at first but he did have a streak where he hit a step-back jumper from about 20 feet, penetrated and layed it in, then hit a 3 pointer. Hes shown a nice ability to penetrate on centers and get to the hoop and his rebounding is better thna I thought it would be. I also like that he fouls hard, I absolutely hate it when AB fouls a guy soft and gives up an easy and-1 play.

Barnes and Pietrus were hitting their shots, Pietrus got injured with some kind of back problem. Both looked good in this game. Barnes seems to have developed the ability to pull up and hit a jumpshot which is nice, but he shoots it A LOT. Both had good nights.

Hudson looked much better tonight. The offense was doing pretty well with him in, he was hitting shots, he was getting in the lane at will and made some nifty finishes. Ended the game with 6 assists and 1 TO which is nice.

Belinelli was alright but not that impressive. He made some nice cuts to the rim and hit a few jumpshots but missed a lot too. Its frustrating seeing him throw up these deep, off balance jumpshots and clanking them so often. I've seen him make those shots before but just because he can make 1 or 2 out of 10 doesn't mean he should be taking them every time he gets the chance. Decent night from him but if hes going to take those shots he better damn well make 30+%. Made some more nice passes and was alright on defense.

Wow, the Warriors bigs sound to be pretty impressive. Each seemed to have some positive reviews. Lasme sounds like a post version of Monta Ellis, at least in terms of getting hands on the ball and being very athletic. I do not like hearing about the injuries though. This team is experiencing enough of those.

Thanks Run for the info on where to get the second game.

I agree with all your observations after watching the vid once.

I must say that I like our announcers a lot better after hearing the Lakers' ones. They kind of suck. I thought our announcers were bad at times... I just wish there was such a thing as a non-homer color commentator... Somebody that can just call the game as it is. I guess... I've heard worse, though. The Kings announcers when I heard a 2004 game drove me even more nuts. They were talking about the Kings looking like the cast of Friends... STFU! Lol. [IMG] I'm glad our announcers at least try to be relevant to what's happening in terms of plays or at least educational about basketball rather than just plain off-topic.
